Paid Members mim731 Posted February 20, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted February 20, 2017 I just can't see it. As long as Vince McMahon is alive and in charge, Nakamura will likely be throwing salt and "Pearl Harbour-ing" opponents if he makes it onto the main roster.
simonworden
I definitely see Vince standing in the way of Nakamura unless he hasn't seen him yet and decides he really likes him, you really never know with Vince. I don't think he could get away with having him being a stereo type now. The worst will likely be mid-card madness so he is still big enough to be a big deal for the Asian tours as Vince feels non-Americans/ Canadians will never be top draws
Mr.E
Wasn't the Balor super-push Vince's idea?
Guest
Like most Americans when it suits them, Vince fancies himself as Irish.
Paid Members Gus Mears Posted February 20, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted February 20, 2017 (edited) I will be pissed if Nakamura's main roster finisher isn't the judo chop or karate kick. Preferably with some sort of name involving the words 'kamikaze' or 'internment'. Edited February 20, 2017 by Gus Mears
Paid Members Arch Stanton Posted February 20, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted February 20, 2017 The rumours are that Nakamura will debut on the Raw after WrestleMania as Gentleman Jack Gallagher's butler.
Paid Members tiger_rick Posted February 20, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted February 20, 2017 Generally they've been pretty good at pushing the guys that deserve it. The Dart
People usually use examples like The Ascension and Tyler Breeze when saying "all" NXT call ups are failures, like everyone from NXT should be in the main event. Casually ignoring Owens, Wyatt, Rollins, Balor, Paige, Charlotte etc.  Debuting in front of the post Mania crowd will help, but I just can't see someone like Nakamura not being in the main event scene immediately whenever he debuts. He was OK, but I hated his trunks. Edited February 20, 2017 by Gus Mears
Paid Members Teedy Kay Posted February 20, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted February 20, 2017 Would a heel turn on a post Wrestlemania crowd and aligning with HHH and Joe to be the 'Intercontinental Champion' guy for a while work? Â Or are we just assuming it's pointless doing any work of that crowd?
Awards Moderator HarmonicGenerator Posted February 20, 2017 Awards Moderator Share Posted February 20, 2017 Â Â The rumours are that Nakamura will debut on the Raw after WrestleMania as Gentleman Jack Gallagher's butler. Â Jap Gallagher. Â Â Actually, add Jack Gallagher to the list of stuff I found confusing on Raw. He was OK, but I hated his trunks. My main question with this proposed idea is that why would Gallagher hire an untested Japanese butler in Nakamura when Tajiri, a man with many years buttling experience for William Regal, is right there on 205 Live? Â Unless this leads to the first ever Silver Service Match between Tajiri and Nakamura, where weapons are legal but only if you use them in precisely the right order, I don't see the logic from the Gentleman's point of view. Paid Members Gus Mears Posted February 20, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted February 20, 2017 Why go for the real thing when you could just stick Paul Diamond in a bonnet? I recommend calling him 'Fung-Shui Valet'.

Briefcase
If the rumours about the NXT stable are to be true then maybe Nakamura will be the one guy who steps up from NXT who goes against the establishment?
Love-Wilcox
I think I'd rather see Nakamura on Smackdown first.
