Awards Moderator HarmonicGenerator Posted November 23, 2017 Awards Moderator Posted November 23, 2017 This week's episode is mostly a War Games recap, but skip to the 40 minute mark for a lovely little match with Pete Dunne and Johnny Gargano.
WyattSheepMask Posted November 24, 2017 Posted November 24, 2017 How far into it does Nigel get to say "joint manipulation"?
UK Kat Von D Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 Best bit of commentary Nigel has ever done was chatting about the tattoo I did on Pete to show his pain tolerance. Prick for not name checking me though
The Cutting Edge Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 Now that they've done War Games, Cage, and Ladder matches I wonder if they'll ever do an NXT Rumble, they could do it night before Royal Rumble, follow a similar theme as main one, have a womens match, tag and a NXT Title Match, then a 15-20 Man rumble with the winner going to face the champ at Takeover: New Orleans, Stick a few former nxt names out there for pops and fill it out so its not loaded with unknown pc guys, Bull Dempsey and such would be good for a one off. I could see it being Almas vs Black for the NXT Title, could build a nice story of it being a year since they first faced and and Aleister caused Cien to have his career turn to shit etc
theringmaster Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 So i'm reading that Lio Rush is now off NXT tv because of the tweet he sent about Emma....call me naive but what was SO offensive about that tweet? I'm no Rush mark (in fact quite the opposite) but it does seem a bit harsh.
Paid Members PunkStep Posted November 30, 2017 Paid Members Posted November 30, 2017 If I had somebody new at work and they were openly mocking somebody over their recent sacking from our company on social media, I'd be pretty pissed off with them. Highly unprofessional in my view.

Paid Members Your Fight Site Posted November 30, 2017 Paid Members Posted November 30, 2017 Yeah. Just because they’ve had some special match types doesn’t mean they need to transform into WWE Lite.

Whether it's a sacking offence in a normal environment I'm not so sure, but WWE cut people for all sorts of reasons, so I don't really see this as being particularly harsh. i imagine William Regal would have taken a particularly dim view. From what I saw of him, he didn't seem to be so outstanding you would overlook a bad attitude.
Paid Members Arch Stanton Posted November 30, 2017 Paid Members Posted November 30, 2017 Regal was one of the only people to stick up for him a little bit actually. Rather than jump on the bandwagon of guys berating Rush on social media, Regal spoke out against the witch hunt. He's a reasonable man, you see.
TildeGuy~! Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 He’s removed all mentions of NXT and WWE from his twitter bio, he may be gone.
Paid Members Your Fight Site Posted November 30, 2017 Paid Members Posted November 30, 2017 Wow. Saving grace is, he’s still young, and can still make it to Stamford in the future once he’s matured a bit.

I half-agree with this. I wouldn't mind an NXT Rumble, but why not do it with the winner getting a spot in the Rumble proper? They've had tournaments in the past that Bo Dallas and Rusev won, but you could devote a whole episode of NXT TV to it. The downside is you're putting a Rumble on free TV before you put a Rumble on PPV, but they're both on the Network now so maybe no harm no foul. Plus it'd be nice bit of synchronicity to have a non-PPV 20 man Rumble in 2018 as a little callback to the 88 Rumble. Anyway, Pete Dunne two weeks in a row! Enjoyable tag team match, really liked the dynamic that Andrews hated teaming with Dunne but knew he had to try and get along with him to win and get a title shot. Any time Dunne and Bate are in there together it's magic, it'll never happen but I'd love their title rematch to get on Clash of Champions or something. Trent Seven needs to lose the flabbywobbles though. Other than the nice emphasis on the UK guys, I really liked the Lars video package, but otherwise a bit of a nothing show.
Paid Members BomberPat Posted December 1, 2017 Paid Members Posted December 1, 2017 I'd be surprised if any punishment of Lio Rush was solely due to that Tweet, that might have just been the most visible offence. If someone's going to Tweet something like that, and get piled on to that extent, chances are he's been rubbing people the wrong way in other respects too. His first match, being told repeatedly where the hard cam was, showed him up as not ready for TV anyway - there might be nothing more to it than that.
TildeGuy~! Posted December 1, 2017 Posted December 1, 2017 He was on a house show last night for NXT,
