Paid Members mim731 Posted November 23, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted November 23, 2017 WWE posted up a short video on Twitter showing the ins and outs of William Regal on a scouting trip in Chile. I know it's only short clips, but a few of the lads there look half decent.
Undefeated Steak
According to Twitter, Jim Johnston has been released. Nothing confirmed yet but probably warrants its own thread if it does.
Paid Members PunkStep Posted November 30, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted November 30, 2017 That's hardly surprising I suppose, CFO$ have produced every new theme for years now haven't they? Can't remember the last theme Jim did, possibly The Shield or something around about that time?
The Dart
New Day, Luke Harper, League of Nations, Darren Young, Jinder Mahal, Erick Rowan were more recent, but he hasn’t done many. Edited December 1, 2017 by The Dart
Paid Members Kaz Hayashi Posted December 1, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted December 1, 2017 In a way, I’m very happy about this. I’m so intrigued about the man, I really hope he’s willing to do some shoots, preferably ones in which listeners can ask questions.
Paid Members Jazzy G Posted December 1, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted December 1, 2017 Was he released, or has he decided it's time to call it a day? He has been doing the music there for 30-something years. Apparently he did Corbin's newest theme.
AVM
I actually think he is HOF worthy when you consider how much his themes have contributed to the spectacle of WWE. Edited December 1, 2017 by AVM
Guest
He's probably the kind of behind-the-scenes guy Warrior was talking about giving an award to, before WWE span his words into meaning something different.

Really Big Shoe
Interesting article about the Pontiac Silverdome, where WrestleMania III was held and the former home of the Detroit Lions https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2017/dec/01/pontiac-silverdome-demolition-detroit-lions
FattHardy
I remember back in the days of Livewire on Saturday mornings where they showed short highlights of the week they showed a short tidbit about Jim Johnston. Would love to see a documentary or Q&A with him.

icke83
When I was in on hols in the US a couple of years back I got the Greyhound to Pontiac from Detroit so I could go have a nosey around the Silverdome but there wasn't a taxi to be found and I didn't have enough time to walk it (and wasn't the safest of walks from what I gathered from the locals). Shame, would have been quite interesting/eerie.
