It was a crying shame that managers and other non-wrestling characters never got figures in the Hasbro line back in the day, so it seemed to be a real no-brainer to rectify that when Mattel brought out the Retros. Glad to see they are finally getting round to it. I have an LJN Mean Gene - it's particularly odd that they didn't do one with him, etc in Hasbro, when they did it in their first round of figures. Chili
I always assumed LJN figures were cheaper and quicker to produce as they seemed to cover more stars of a shorter time period than the Hasbro ones. So they skimmed on things like managers etc

cobra_gordo
Other than the ones I've bought for my kids I haven't bought a wrestling figure since 1993 but I sure as shit will be parting with my money for a Hasbro style Kronik set.
Paid Members Cod Eye Posted June 1, 2021 Paid Members Share Posted June 1, 2021 Always though "Adam Bomb" was a WWF created character, and they would still own the trademark. Same with Kronik(WCW, which would have transferred over during the buyout)?

Trademarks lapse, usually after 10 years, unless you renew them and that costs money so WWE just sack them off unless it's worth something to them. Cody looks like he wants to be anywhere but there at that moment. You absolutely know he and/or Brandi will post a picture of the baby in her cot with it, though.
