@Keith Houchenam I imagining things or were you watching Mad Men? Did you ever finish it?

Ha! Yeah I finished it. Got over my homeboy Layne and stuck it out. Really good stuff and full of absolute shithouses. Sally Draper became the MVP, she combined the absolute worst traits of her parents.

I'm only a couple of eps in on the new series of CYE but the bit at the start of the first episode where he pushes the bikes over just to be a cunt pretty much sums the show up now. Larry was always a twat but he was usually right in his twatishness and was more petty than spiteful. It's still great but it tends to sink to it's lowest common denominator more often than before. Even at that it's still far superior to most sitcoms around plus Leo is never anything less than fantastic.

The Jamie Oliver show "Keep Cooking and Carry On" that he and Channel 4 have knocked up in about five minutes is really excellent. Fair play to him.

Should've had Jack Monroe present it as it was pretty much their idea and what they specialise in.

Waiting for season 2 of Westworld to become a slog but five episodes in and I think it's fantastic. It's got some classic Nolan traits in it even if it is the other Nolan but I've enjoyed it so far.

One thing that does annoy me is (spoiler about Ed Harris' character)

how different him and his younger John Boy Walton looking self look.

I just finished the Montague epidode of Atlanta. I think Alfred might be the shows MVP but i'll probably change my mind again when I rewatch the Darius stand alone episode.

I loved this series of Curb Your Enthusiasm. The Job Hamm episode was excellent and I loved the spite store thread through the season. Far better than the dog shit season 9.

That last episode was one of the strongest finales they have done in ages, probably since season 4.

probably means that I should rewatch them all again just to make sure...

Teddy Perkins is so good, right up there with the best of Inside No. 9.

Susie throwing Larry and Jon Hamm out of her house was a highlight.

I really liked one episode, with the Scottish bloke in it throughout, but the whole series became a dull mess for me. It was like Nolan was shouting over to his brother "Look! I can be needlessly confusing too!"

Apparently the third series is a return to form but I can't be arsed with it. I've lost all interest.

A cracking birthday present! Not watching the trailer though.

Finished series 1 of Derry Girls, really fantastic stuff. Loved the finale scene, a bit of Blackadder Goes Forth-esque serious business, but absolutely beautifully done.

I've been going through things that passed me by over the years, so started The Shield. I'm about three quarters of the way through season 1, and I'm pretty undecided on it. Does it get better?
