Wideload90
Bodyguard. Anyone else watching this? Superb cast and ridiculously tense. Pulled in 7million on first episode and made by those involved in line of duty. Very good indeed.
D@mm
Yeah so far so good for Bodyguard, the first part of the first episode was really good, I am enjoying so far.
DarloKid
Bodyguard, is bloody good isn't it ! ..... those first two 2 episodes had some brilliant tense, edge of you're seat scenes. Really enjoying this series.
Paid Members SpursRiot2012 Posted September 4, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted September 4, 2018 I do want to check out Bodyguard when I get back from holiday but first on my list is the new season of Ozark.
Mr_Danger
What were the pay offs like in Line of Duty? Â I'm enjoying Bodyguard, despite imagining Theresa May doing all the things Keely Hawe is doing *shudders* but I can't help but think it's going to get all ITV crime drama on us and have a ridiculously stupid ending. Paid Members Scott Malbranque Posted September 4, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted September 4, 2018 I'm buzzing for Bodyguard. I won't watch it until all six episodes are available though, so I'm watching 'Sharp Objects' in the interim, and it's really fucking boring. It is my favorite British drama series by far. Each season gets better
Paid Members Fatty Facesitter Posted September 4, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted September 4, 2018 Watched the first two episodes of Magic for Humans. It’s well put together...probably *too* well put together if anything - not sure how I feel about the multiple angles and some of the reactions.   But an interesting watch all the same - I’m a complete sucker for magic and illusions (a trick is something a whore does for money) and there’s a certain charm to it, so I may give it another couple of watches. Keith Houchen
The Sinner on Netflix was ok. Â Started really good and intriguing but thought it tailed off towards the end. Â Bill Pullman and Jessica Biel were good all the way through.

It manages to be way less interesting whilst shooting for a much more sensational story.
wordsfromlee
I'm not bothering with the second season. Is was written as a one season-only show but because it did well they tried to continue it after it had been finished. Same with Little Big Lies. They were written with an definitive ending. Leave them be.
Paid Members mim731 Posted September 5, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted September 5, 2018 They've done a second series? Is it focusing on the same characters? I enjoyed s1 for the most part, a few dodgy plot twists aside.
Paid Members Nexus Posted September 5, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted September 5, 2018 Watched Sharp Objects on Now TV/Sky Atlantic. It was really good and well shot, but hard to follow in places. I really enjoyed it though.
Paid Members LaGoosh Posted September 10, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted September 10, 2018 (edited) Adventure Time had it's season finale last week and it was a beautiful ending to an amazing show. Two spectacular music moments ensured that there wasn't a dry eye to be found. I think/hope looking back that Adventure Time will be seen as the inspirational and incredibly clever show that it is. I'm now going to have to move on to Steven Universe for my animation fix. I have high hopes. Edited September 10, 2018 by LaGoosh
Paid Members PunkStep Posted September 11, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted September 11, 2018 I watched Fleabag this week, given the plaudits it has received over the past couple of years. Really enjoyed it and Phoebe Waller-Bridge gives a brilliant performance- both very funny and tragic in equal measurement. New series next year, I'm not sure where they'll go with it. It'll take some writing to prevent this from being a 'difficult second series', I hope she delivers.
