Paid Members SiMania Posted June 16, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted June 16, 2016 The gay black policeman won't be back. Â Unless they do a Prison Break spin-off.
Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted June 16, 2016 Moderators Share Posted June 16, 2016 What's the consensus on later series futurama? I've just been catching up on 6 and 7.. For boring reasons I won't go into here, I started with season 7. It was unwatchable garbage; such a disappointment. I couldn't get more than a couple eps in. Â 6 is better - patchy and not a touch on the show in its prime, but still with a few good bits.
WyattSheepMask
I don't know what it was, but I thought it was very poor from the moment it come back as a series. The 'movies' were hit and miss but were ok, but once it came back as a regular series, I just didn't find it all that funny
Awards Moderator Onyx2 Posted June 16, 2016 Awards Moderator Share Posted June 16, 2016 Funny you say that Chestaroonie, I've been thinking about box-setting Futurama lately. Haven't seen them for ages. Didn't enjoy 6 and 7. 1 - 5 are brilliant, absolutely cracking. The first 'movie' was good - in fact the one about Fry resetting time is darn heart-breaking - but the rest were only OK.
Paid Members Maverick Posted June 16, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted June 16, 2016 It just wasn't the same sadly. I so wanted to be. The early seasons are still excellent, watched a year or so back and was shocked at how good they were.
Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted June 16, 2016 Moderators Share Posted June 16, 2016 (edited) I hated the movie with David Cross playing the tentacle monster, but agree the first one was good. The others were simply OK. Â I think I am enjoying 6 because a) it's been so long since I saw the properly good stuff, and b) because it's much better in comparison to 7. WyattSheepMask
Anyone on here enjoy Vinyl when it was on? Â Well, it's been cancelled after one series http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-36604532
Mr_Danger
Nooooo! I really enjoyed it and sleazy Ray Barrone was a treat as was coked up Bobby Cannavale.
wordsfromlee
Can't wait for this. Loved Eastbound & Down. HBO seem to have a couple of good shows coming out this year with Westworld as well. Â https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=58XtN9ECoPg
MungoChutney
I've watched more than 50 episodes of The Blacklist in the last 2 weeks. It's my favourite program of all time now. I know people will think I'm nuts but it keeps provoking genuine emotional responses from me, much more so than anything else I've ever watched. Paid Members Murtz Posted June 23, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted June 23, 2016 I could listening to Raymond Reddington's random musings all day long. Probably my favourite character ever. Â The last season is just mental!
SuperBacon
Just finished Seinfeld (again) all the way through. Still the funniest show ever for me. Going to bang through Curb now, as I only ever saw Series 1&2 and couple of episodes of the last series.
