Â If it wasn't illegal, could've had a bit of comedy with "The Stoner Brothers", coming out to Taker's old theme, "Rollin'". Â TNA let Kendrick be himself, and he was fucking awful. Â Correction: they let him be himself in a serious capacity. He's no good at that. He's pretty good at comedy though - his stuff as Leonardo Spanky in Japan (was it HUSTLE?) was hilarious. Â Interview starts at the 48:00 mark on this BBC i-Player link: Â http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p01s4q34 Â Dixon and the presenter are old friends. Dixon was promoting an All Star show that night in New Brighton, and talks a little bit about the business, how he's been promoting shows for 45 years, talking up the Brits doing well in America at the moment. Â He also said that he hopes Dean Allmark & his wife (Brian's daughter) takes over his All Star empire eventually. Â The presenter knows his stuff, as he's a big wrestling fan himself and even did spots with British wrestlers on local tv in the early 1980s. I am unbelievably sad to report that my very good friend Billy Robinson passed away today. I hadn't heard from him in days so I contacted his apartment complex to check in on him. When I called back for a progress report the apartment manager put the police on the phone, it seems he passed peacefully in his sleep. He was a lion of a man, bigger than life in so many ways, my wife and I named our youngest son, Lliam in his honor. You will be sorely missed, my friend.
