Paid Members Hannibal Scorch Posted November 7, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted November 7, 2019 I’ve just read that back. Completely got the wrong end of the stick @Devon Malcolm. That makes much more sense. Apologies
Paid Members chokeout Posted November 7, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted November 7, 2019 Its Leigh Wannell who's not done a lot as a director but has a decent track record with low budget horror. Plus the last film he directed was Upgrade so I'm quietly optimistic.
Factotum
I loved Upgrade. Surprised me as a film as I had no expectations whatsoever. Great end as well. Poor Man's Tom Hardy was good in it as well
Paid Members Bellenda Carlisle Posted November 8, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted November 8, 2019 That guy that's gonna direct a film with James dean's cgi puppet corpse has responded to the backlash about his terrible, terrible idea. His comments are so idiotic it's funny. What an oblivious tone deaf twat. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/director-new-james-dean-movie-speaks-backlash-stars-casting-1253232
Paid Members Monkee Posted November 24, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted November 24, 2019 (edited) If anyone here is a fan of Danny Boyle, there’s a charity screening of Yesterday on Saturday 14 December plus a Q&A with Danny and Sanjeev Bhaskar. Go to http://noah.do/yesterday for tickets. The previous one did almost a billion dollars against The Last Jedi, which was three times greater than predicted. They're probably anticipating similar numbers. Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted December 19, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted December 19, 2019 It's apparently the movie musical fans deserve. Â
Paid Members ColinBollocks Posted December 19, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted December 19, 2019 Simply, go see Jumanji with the family this Christmas.
CavemanLynn
Checked Jumanji 2 last night. Wife didn't enjoy it, thinking it was a pointless rehash, but Kevin Hart, Jack Black and especially Awkwafina are great in it, even if it doesn't toy with video game clichés as much as it should. Solid family blockbuster fun.
Awards Moderator HarmonicGenerator Posted December 19, 2019 Awards Moderator Share Posted December 19, 2019 (edited) Part of me desperately wants to see Cats out of morbid curiosity.Part of me knows I absolutely shouldn’t because it must be awful.
