You used the word detest though. Detest isn't a grumble about something you don't like. Detest is to feel intense hatred. That's is much more than a grumble. For example.

I detest your attempt to play the victim in this situation when you have been correctly called out for the words you used.

Okay, this has taken a strange turn.....

I apologise for my use of the word "detest" - even though "hatred" is different than "dislike" which is what detesting something actually denotes, an intense dislike for something, not hatred. I will certainly consider how to word things in a way that you find more appropriate in future.

I am unsure how a flippant response to what I assumed was an equally flippant question is me "playing the victim" (what am I supposed to be a "victim" of, exactly?) or what "this situation" you refer to actually is but that's by the by.

I like many things - I recently posted about how much I like AAA's weekly show, for instance, and how great I think Trick Williams is - so my sarcastic response to your post felt appropriate given that a grumble where emotive language was used elicited such a sweeping generalisation from yourself.

I did state at the end of the initial post that I was leaning in to being a grump and a curmudgeon, hoping this would clarify that the post was to be taken with a pinch of salt. Clearly I was wrong about that in your case and I will try to make it clearer that I am not literally frothing at the mouth and clenching my fists about wrestling, no matter what language I may use, in the future.

I'm a sarcastic, middle aged wrestling fan who enjoys a moan about things. It does not mean I "dislike everything". I respond to people how I feel they are responding to me. If you think I'm being a dick to you it is likely because I feel like you were being one first.

Not mature, perhaps, but again, I"m doing my best to own my flaws. You should try it sometime.

Anyway, enough of this turgid lot of old nonsense, let's get back to all the wrestling bollocks, good and bad, eh?

I hope with this face run, they completely reset Rollins back to how he was pre pandemic, no more wacky outfits, no more cackle, no more fan integration theme just back to King/Beast Slayer mode with his post Shield theme

I'd rather Bron Breakker on return cunts him in to the sea. It's a man who doesn't chemistry with his own fucking wife, for the love of fuck. And he did apartment wrestling, and has a tiny tiddler.

Although I did like the callback to Seth being Cody's Shield.

I hope he gets sacked personally. He's just not likeable. He wasn't in 2019 as "The Beast Slayer" he was an absolute WWE bootlicker on Twitter. And yeah as pointed out, he couldn't even seem natural with his own Mrs. Man's a lost cause.

Danhausen being the surprise (Chicagoan mates in high places, I assume) reminded me of the Gobbledy Gooker. It'll seem even worse when he's looking at the lights on Main Event about 6 weeks from now.

They'll send him to AAA, use him for shenanigans with Mr Iguana, or find a comedic niche for him in NXT. Bloody hell, stick a TNA belt on him for a bit if you feel like you absolutely have to do something with him in the ring, though.

He's not there to wrestle. He's there to be stood backstage and shout "NO SWEARING!" as someone dressed as the Shockmaster falls through a gimmicked wall.

Theyll find something for him to do on their YouTube channel. Stick him with R Truth, sit him with some dead serious heel who pretends to have no idea what his shtick is. There's plenty to do with him, most of it involves generating engagement through short form social media clips, though. That and selling shirts.

Understandable, and completely agreeable. But why just give a massive build up for less than fuck all? It's be a great NXT act. But it didn't compute to me, nor the people there. He's on a hiding to nothing

Do you know what you are absolutely right, and I'm going to start working on my flaws right away.

One of my flaws is responding to anything you post like you mean what you are saying, because we all know that you are a completely disingenuous bad faith posting cunt. So from now i'm going to correct that.

What a great way to start a week.

Seems Jade’s lack of instincts in the ring match her lack of instincts on social media. So it’s going to be one of those feuds. Dreadful.

I wouldn't expect anything else for a Wrestlemania women's championship match. Heaven forbid they talk about their differing philosophy to wrestling, training regimes or try to compare how Rhea fought from the Aussie Indies all the way up while Jade got in through the "gifted" program. Nah what we want Hunter is them slagging each other off for backstage things like it's 2000 WCW bro.

When Jade signed, i will admit, i was fairly excited. Having seen her prior in AEW, i knew she was not practically great but i hoped she would go to WWE, and significantly improve almost by default if nothing else, how disappointed i am in how she has turned out and i think this about as good as she will get

without her look, which is incredible to be fair, she wouldn't even make it to TV

I think she's a prime example of being pushed too quick, in both AEW and WWE. I think they realised in AEW, but it was too late and they couldn't have her doing work in RoH to develop working past extended squash matches or some work in Japan or CMLL. In WWE she needed NXT but I can imagine they saw it as a big coup and had to go straight on the main roster. What do you really do with her now? While I understand looks in wrestling (just like all entertainment) are important, I also believe they can only take you so far, especially when you have a current women's roster which is fairly strong.

God, I’m sick of them signing losers from the indies who can’t work WWE style.

I've been laughing at this on and off for the last two hours. Brilliant. I thought it had peaked at the Blobby Cold Stunner, then he hit the suicide 'dive' and it set me off all over again.

10/10 best match ever.

Jade's appearance and aura makes it near impossible not to put her at the top of the card.

She's extremely attractive facially, has a million dollar body and has a natural presence around her.

Having her squash jobbers in ROH would have been a huge waste.

She's not utterly hopeless like a Rob Terry or a Mason Ryan. She's just not as fluid in the ring as a lot of the others.

Personally I would compare her situation to Roman in his earlier days. Neither are/were particularly terrible, they are/were just victims of people in their immediate vacinity being better than them in the ring at that time though.

Both however have undeniable star power that a lot of the others immediately around them perhaps didn't.

There's people in the division like Tiffany Stratton who I never seem to see getting much criticism but personally I think she's very poor all round.

Wade Barrett spoke years ago about how when he first broke into the business in England he was put straight into main events and it being equal parts helpful and a hinderance to his development.

The problem is, where else do you put an athletic guy who's 6'7" on a card full of 5'7" chubby guys in t shirts and pleather trousers.

There may be better "workers" than Jade...but Jade is a star.
