Argentina to win on penalties. Romero to get booked and Kane or and Messi to score.

Hopefully. As an Irishman living in England, it'll be insufferable listening to all the discourse if they win thing.

The racism which will undoubtedly ensue if they lose will be even more unbearable so come on England!!

I think the racism will just be redirected elsewhere if they win. It's not going anywhere unfortunately. That's a whole other systemic issue.

Winning means they'll bang on about it for another 60 years, so it's definitely not my preferred option.

If it gets bad, I'll have to step up to making some desi tea with all the spices in it that I'm usually to lazy to do, my mum swears it cures every ailment and illness on the planet so my match day nerves should be a doddle.

Made some proper chai for the kids for the first time the other day using decaff tea and they loved it. My daughter is very excited to stay up for the game tonight so might have to do the same 😁

It's worth watching this mornings Rest is Football on Netflix just to see John Obi Mikel's reaction when Joe Cole casually dropped the 'we'll have to watch for refs favouring Messi and Argentina' nonsense. His head about rolled out the studio.

This one?

I can't find it, there was also a brilliant clip of him saying Shearer was the dirtiest player he'd ever played against until it was pointed out he'd never played against him, and he said (paraphrasing) "well all bald strikers look the same" 😆

They found a photo of him going for a header with a random bald headed Newcastle player, and he's just like 'see, all the same!' 😅

From the above video, I want that 'no, i'm not buying that bullshit' turned into a gif that I'll have permanently ready to go.

I think the weight of this one is heavier on England and we’ll see a re-run of last night’s match, with England taking on France’s role of feebly being kept at arms length. But with a Bellingham red card for extra FFS vibes.
