Members SuperBacon Posted July 14 Author Members Posted July 14 Maybe they announced a new price hike on fags and cheese before the game? They were bloody terrible. Anyway, Spurs will have a World Cup winner for the 3rd tournament in a row. Quote
Paid Members FLips Posted July 14 Paid Members Posted July 14 I said to mates that going in I’d rather England play Spain than France if we make it past Argentina, but after that I’d rather have played tonight’s version of France. How a team that looked to steamroll the whole thing just turned off like that was baffling. Quote

I was desperate for France to go through, whether they played England or Argentina, it would have made for a cracking final. Spain vs England would be a very dull affair, I fear. Quote

Frances open nature would suit England (or Argentina) more than Spain. Spain are the absolute kings of going 1 up and just dizzying you by keeping the ball, Rodri and the full backs have been especially good and they look so solid in the middle. They really grind you down. They're basically prime Bret Hart. Should be an absolute cracker tomorrow, I think England will win fairly comfortably but they can't be sucked into a fight against arguably the biggest shithouses in world football. There will be a huge moment I reckon, most likely involving Romero let's be honest. Quote
d-d-d-dAz Posted July 15 Posted July 15 Deschamps moaning about the referee is probably proof if proof be need be that everyone these days will complain about the referee regardless. It's becoming completely unbearable. Everyone is a terrible loser these days. I think there should be a 300 year ban from football for even saying the word 'referee' within 72 hours of losing a game. More like there'll be a scuffle at a corner towards the end and him and Big Dan Burn will square up and Romero will do something and either get himself sent off or get Big Dan sent off via playacting.. Obviously if it was the PL and Romero did something like that, then its absolutely fine 😇 Quote
Briefcase Posted July 15 Posted July 15 Might back a red card tonight, feels like it could be a little feisty. Sort of game I could see Jude Bellingham getting sent off for a soft head butt when Romaro pinches his arse at a corner. Quote

More likely Tuchel will piss off Jude during a hydration break and he takes it out on a poor Argentinian. Quote

deathrey Posted July 15 Posted July 15 I neither drink nor smoke but I will get some strong Yorkshire Tea going on a drip to ease myself through the next few hours. If it gets bad, I'll have to step up to making some desi tea with all the spices in it that I'm usually to lazy to do, my mum swears it cures every ailment and illness on the planet so my match day nerves should be a doddle. Paid Members Arch Stanton Posted July 15 Paid Members Posted July 15 I reckon we'll see a red tonight, plus at least one penalty awarded for each side and at least one absolutely horrendous VAR intervention going in Argentina's favour. Beyond that I've no idea what will happen. Quote
FTR2020 Posted July 15 Posted July 15 Argentina to win on penalties. Romero to get booked and Kane or and Messi to score. Quote
