Post 2016 U.S. politics is a TV show about a culture war, and people like Dana White and Conor McGregor are the goons who represent the bro vote. Not a single act passed or disinformation grenade thrown in a room will affect their bottom line as rich, cisgender white guys so they'll have no qualms at all being on the TV show, rubbing shoulders with the authority figures and clapping like fucking seals whilst telling everyone else there's never been as much opportunity in America. Quote

So if he says "fuck the 22nd amendment" who exactly is going to stop him? If anything his voters and party will celebrate it. I have zero faith that there is a "turning point" for his base. As he has said before, he could literally shoot someone (as long as it is a filthy lib) and wouldn't lose a vote. Made worse is that huge amount of apathy at the moment, this isn't like 2016 where the was a large amount of protest and action. Most people against Trump are just accepting it, going about their lives in misery, and hoping that 4 years goes by. Quote
