Speaking of potential, Bowens might potentially turn himself heel if he doesn’t shut the fuck up about being the five tool player. It's only been 2 weeks and I'm already sick of hearing about it.

That video package for Bowens did feel really forced, weirdly reminding me of stuff like WWE trying to repackage Lacey Evans as an all-American goody two-shoes. As good as Bowens is in the ring and the potential he may have, all I was thinking when watching the video was that he'll never be as popular as when he just goofed around scissoring people.

All timer episode. Top tier. The perfect victory lap.

Turns out that the billionaire’s son is actually quite good at putting on pro-wrestling shows.

Read this Thursday morning, avoided spoilers, made the time for it today. Brilliant show.

The Don Callis Family feels completely played out. Last thing it needs is more members, just put an end to it.

The Deathriders tantrum was good fun.

So who is turning heel next? Knight or Bailey?

Bayne's squash was better than last weeks but trying to book her as an unstoppable monster, after already losing to Storm, is backwards booking at it's worst.

Pretty sure Stardom did almost the exact same thing with her but at least put her in a decent team with Maika.

Thought Storm had an off night. Didn't find her as fun on commentary as usual, but that might just be me.

Alright show overall but an obvious step down from Dynamite.

I've got last weeks Dynamite and Collision to watch tonight then, after about 3 long months, I'm finally caught up!

I would've been caught up a lot sooner but didn't realise Dynasty was 3 weeks long.

Anyway, I think it's been really good for the most part over the past few months. Special shout out to FTR's heel turn which has turned a tired act into two of the biggest bastards on the roster. And the entire womens divison which has been pretty fantastic.

They've turned things around to the extent I'm even quite enjoying Death Riders and Adam Cole & Friends now.

Not Jericho though. He's awful and hopefully gone for a long time.

Even as a fan of Master P, albeit 25 years ago, that seems a very odd choice.

Also, who is that red headed woman on the left?

Edit: oh wait, is that Hayter?

Seen some chat online that it could be some House of Glory stuff which makes way more sense than a random Master P appearance in 2025

Another fun Dynamite.

One of the things I'm loving about the shows now is the way a lot of the stories seem to flow and be connected to each other. So you have MJF trying to win over and join the Hurt Syndicate, but then he bumps into Hangman and they still hate each other. And then Hangman tries to make the save for Ospreay later on and to get at Kyle Fletcher for attacking him last week but he's beaten down by the Don Callis family.

A lot of stuff feels intertwined and connected. Makes the show feel more real if that makes sense? They have a big group of guys at the top of the card that have history and issues with each other.

I was enjoying the opening match with Briscoe and Ricochet but I was thinking ah it's a shame Briscoe will lose again. He loses too much for how over and how great he is, and then he won!  Didn't hurt Ricochet at all, he works so well as a cowardly heel , it was another step to Ricochet vs Kevin Knight and it gave Briscoe a much needed big victory. Great stuff.

I think the Rock n Roll express have appeared on AEW TV about 5 or 6 times over the years, and they get their arse kicked every time. You'd think they'd learn by now, don't accept the invite to the show!

Hayter looked very rusty when she returned last summer but she's been looking more and more like her old self and I really enjoyed the main event. Two great wrestlers having a hard hitting match and the Owen final at the PPV should be fantastic.

So yeah, all in all a good show. Wasn't as good on last weeks Dynamite of course but it was never going to be. AEW seem very focused at the minute and I think it comes across with the product.

A great point. Next time they show up, I hope they bring minders.

It was a minor miracle that this was a really good Dynamite because the first 5 mins or so with Master P and poor old Joe having to shout out his shitty catchphrases had me watching through my fingers. They somehow rescued it, it was a nice moment to give a local celeb a bit of a platform and it became a parade of stars, and Yuta. The Master P bit could have been a dark segment, if we're really honest, but it turned out alright.

There wasn't much I didn't like on the show. Brody King losing was one of them. Agree with @digforvictory, I was expecting Mark Briscoe to take an L. The pleasant surprise that he didn't was countered by Brody losing again. He was obviously going to but I just don't like him being in this position all the time.

Mercedes and Hayter is set for DoN a whole month out. I like having a PPV card that you can hard sell for weeks generally but this just adds to the problem with throwing half the tournament on the last PPV. It wasn't needed, they have loads of TV to spread it over and now they've got through an entire tournament in a couple of weeks but have a gap of over a month before the final. I don't think they've done this well, although the matches and outcomes have been very good.

The Paragon is a shitty name for a shitty trio but at least it's some separation from the same act they've done in every company for years. Be great in NXT. Go on Tripper, flex them muscles and bring the boys home.

FTR needed a manager. Is Stokely it? Dunno, but it's interesting. Thought they did a great job in that segment. Absolutely detestable cunts.

Loving the stars in the promotion. Swerve, Hangman, Kenny, Joe, Toni, Mercedes, Ospreay, the Hurts, even MJF, just feel big whatever they're doing at the moment. It's a nice vibe after that year or two in the doldrums.
