Harley Cameron really is the best, which I know a lot of us knew already but decent showing against Bayne I thought, some good fire shown before the inevitable finish. Daft as shit promo with Anna Jay as well after which starts at 2.40 of the vid if you wanna skip FTRs version of " Danny's turning next week and here's why it's obvious"

Anyway create some tag belts just for these 2 ladies!!!

Interested to see what they do for this Moxley vs. Samoa Joe cage match.

AEW have done a great job of re-educating the audience that cage matches stop people interfering and normally provide a conclusive finish, but surely that’s not happening here. I don’t see Joe beating Mox for the belt, nor do I see Joe losing clean.

Presuming the whole thing is a way of announcing the inevitable Anarchy in the Arena match, I assume they must have something big up their sleeve in order to distract from an unsatisfying finish.

The best I can come with is The Elite and the Death Riders running down and climbing the cage, followed by The Ops, Kenny Omega and Swerve Strickland, it’s a huge, bonkers schmoz with guys moonsaulting off the cage and brawling throughout the arena. Have Hobbs spear someone through the cage wall. Go mental.

Then Excalibur starts to do the math. The Elite (Young Bucks and Okada) plus The Death Riders (Mox, Claudio, Yuta) equals six, whereas The Ops (Joe, Hobbs, Shibata) plus Omega and Swerve only equals five. By God, they’re a man down!

And that’s when his music hits and he walks out with a fucking petrol can.

Roooosh who I think could be doing more

The best/worst thing about Rush is he's a legit maniac, which makes him a brilliant wrestler to watch but also means it's difficult for the company to give him a long term push because they have to keep suspending him for bad behaviour.

I actually didn’t know this had happened, and after googling what he did (link to wrestlinginc), I’d not bother doing more than they are with him if I were AEW. That kind of behaviour shouldn’t be rewarded, and they can certainly afford to sideline him.

Max Caster absolutely legging it down the boardwalk and getting the cameraman to chase him. The real success story of the Acclaimed split. Love him, the 5 troll player.

The highlight of Collision was watching Max Caster react in real time to this brilliant comedy gimmick turning him babyface.

Him corpsing at the fans actually joining in with his chant was joyous. Rhythmically designed to be as rubbish and difficult to chant as possible, and the fans still want to chant it with him. Brilliant. Complete career turnaround. I hope more wrestlers take inspiration from Max Caster and Ricochet. Funny is money.

I see Rhyno is scheduled for some cameos this week? I’m already excited to watch Max get Gored to death.

Joyous is the perfect word to describe it.

It came so out of left field he had no way of reacting and just couldn't hold it.

When he actually wins a match the reaction is going to be insane.

Part of me currently wants a AEW version of the Mixed Match Challenge. Put Max and Harley together, have a Puppet Best Wrestler Alive. Let them win the whole damn thing.

If they hold off a little longer, they'll probably be able to reunite Beef Strongman and Blissy Alexis before the end of the year. They'd be my favourites.

Aw man, that was a great show. I’ve been having to get up bloody early these past few weeks, and Dynamite not only wakes me up, it leaves me buzzing for the day ahead. I keep worrying their hot streak will end, and it just keeps going.

Although there was only one women’s match, it was great to see the focus on storytelling involving female wrestlers. I love the AEW women’s division right now, and it finally feels like they’re remembering to use basically all of their potential megastars. I hope Mariah May is watching and getting that bit closer to inking a new deal as a result.

Ospreay/Hangman, fuck me that felt big. It was really odd to see them in the ring together actually - they’d done such a good job at keeping them apart that I’d not even noticed they’d done that; but now that they’re in a programme together, it couldn’t feel more exciting. I’d been of the opinion for the longest while that Hangman or Swerve should defeat Moxley, but it’s starting to feel like it’s Ospreay’s time and that he is indeed the right choice to have on top at the moment. I’m looking forward to seeing him finally win the big one in AEW.

I’m very excited for Mone/Hayter at Double or Nothing. If we’re getting Storm/Mone, Moxley/Ospreay and Swerve teaming up with Hangman at All In, fuck them for not holding it in London this year! What a cracking line-up. Mercedes has proven herself to be one of the best wrestlers in the world during her time in AEW, and it’s going to be a two way battle between her and Toni for best female wrestler at this year’s UKFF Awards. A feud between the two only feels right.

The MJF/Hurt Syndicate segment was great, and I’m seriously intrigued as to what they’ll do next. I read that Cedric Alexander’s no-compete clause has expired, and while I’m fully expecting him to come into play at some point, that wouldn’t resolve the situation with MJF. Is he going to stab them in the back? Reform The Pinnacle? Actually be part of The Hurt Syndicate for a while? I don’t know where this is going, and I love that.

Each week, we seem to be getting closer to Christian Cage’s patriarch character coming to an end, presumably to reunite him with Edge. I do want to see them together again, but I can’t help but feel sad at the prospect of one of AEW’s greatest ever heel characters going away. Even during Dynamite’s darkest days, Christian managed to shine and I hope he manages to carry that over to what comes next.

I’m sure I’m forgetting to mention something else I loved, but that was another all-timer Dynamite episode for me. Double or Nothing only has two matches announced, and it’s my most anticipated show of the year based on the strength of those matches alone. Life is good!

I enjoyed it, but maybe a little less enthusiastic than the Twoster.

I cannot stand Claudio, so the show ran out of steam a bit for me.

The opening segment was absolutely fantastic. Ospreay and Hangman feels absolutely massive.

I really enjoyed the MJF/Hurt syndicate segment too, and in terms of matches I thought the 3 man tag was a lot of fun.

After that Dynamite, though, I will take no lectures about why Braun Strowman shouldn't even have one match in AEW on the basis that AEW is about having the best wrestling. If you can have Rhino do 10 minutes for a title, without even using the Gore, you can find space for big Braun's Choo Choo Train of Doom in a garbage match.

Fun show. Excited for next week. Claudio is still shit, and his entrance was pathetic; popping out of a goods lift pinned in a load of what looked liked bookmarks from a Shakespeare gift shop? Shite.

Honestly, watch it after being kept up all night by a toddler who’s turned nocturnal - it’s the perfect antidote and a weirdly great way to watch wrestling!

New theme song for Dynamite by Sum 41 of all people cracked me up. Wrestling music tastes absolutely refuse to leave the 2000s.

Even less cool, it's Warhammer 40,000.
