I still chuckle about that Guevara bit.

Is Tony booking ROH or is it someone else? Jerry Lynn seems involved enough with it, there's probably a few veterans who may be looking at backstage roles in the future that could do with learning that side of the business too.

Even someone like Chuck Taylor if he is fully retired always seemed like a decent wrestling mind, there just feels like there could be a renewed interest if someone is heading it up rather than if it is the case that Tony notices a bunch of ROH stuff arriving and starts booking on a sheet of napkin.

Toni Storm's ongoing thirst for Kris Statlander is becoming one of my favourite stories on the show.

I actually think Undisputed Kingdom/Paragon/13 year old e-fed name vs FTR is a great shout. They've been much better since they've just been a trio of babyfaces that mostly just has matches and doesn't try and be too clever, and FTR could do with being dastardly to someone vover the next couple of months, but it's a 3 on 2, does Garcia turn?

Has the FTR promo finished yet?

They really are the worst, especially Dax. They're awful, not half as good, important or as relevant to wrestling as they think they are. Only decent part was when Schiavone got involved, and especially Mcguiness.

Did enjoy Daxs line of "you paid good money to watch me". Nah, no one is paying money to watch you mate, if he was wrestling in my back garden I'd close the curtains.

They are though Daz. The new TV deal is worth 185 million dollars a year. People are paying more than ever to watch everyone in AEW.

That aside, I always enjoy their matches, but their promos are shocking, but even worse is how seriously they take themselves.

I'm already at the 'where do they even fit in?' point with Bailey and Knight.

Based on the interactions with Briscoe in the promo & during the match on Dynamite (which I'm just catching up with now), I'd have Speedball take o'Reilly's place in a resurrected Conglomeration. The goofy Karate Kid lad would be a fun addition to that particular mix.

On the subject of the promo, the unique gathering of Briscoe, Bailey, Knight and Ospreay all in their gear in that graffitied tunnel only reinforced my view that AEW should blatantly rip off the proper Survivor Series format if WWE would rather have the significantly inferior War Games.

Thought the segments with FTR were really good, personally. Best they've done in a long time and I don't think it's a coincidence that it's because they've turned heel.

Yeah all the FTR stuff was great. Proper pro wrestling stuff. Got over FTR, Tony Schiavone, Nigel McGuinness, Daniel Garcia and Daddy Magic/Cool Hand Ang. Perfectly done all round. Thrown in loads of great womens business and a fun main event and it was a good show, I think.

Zoey Starks has a manic, scrappy unpolished energy to her ring work that makes her fun to watch.

Haven’t caught up on last week’s Dynamite or Collision yet (Kenny Omega mentioning, “restoring the feeling,” broke me), but this week’s Dynamite, in that venue, with that card, ideally with some snide digs at Eric Bischoff as Dynamite overtakes Nitro as longest running pro-wrestling show on Turner Networks? Delicious!

Guesses for the Wild Card? Jack Perry?

Don't read the comments. Wrestling fans are knackering.

Ha, I only caught the "top" comment. AEW has been bloody as hell since day one, it's not stopping any time soon.

Great promo though, Daddy Magic especially has been top tier on the mic for ages now.

Daddy Magic is one of the best hires they've ever made. Great at comedy, decent commentator, fantastic promo, can get any angle over and a brilliant fiery and believable underdog babyface worker.
