That was one of the dumbest things I've ever seen at a wrestling show, I'd like to see Mox try and out do it. Guest Posted April 4, 2025 Posted April 4, 2025 Swerve loses to Yuta run in at Dynasty. Hangman loses to Yuta run in at DON. Hangman, Swerve and Darby win the trios belts at All In. You heard it here first. Quote

Merzbow Posted April 5, 2025 Posted April 5, 2025 Big Bill's fucking great, isn't he? One of the best comeback stories in wrestling, too. Another success for my fav carny DDP. Overall it was a very workmanlike show though, not bad but didn't build any excitement for a PPV I'm already pretty nonplussed about. Kinda feels like filler but at least there are quite a few intriguing things for the future shows. Quote

The King Of Swing Posted April 5, 2025 Posted April 5, 2025 Mone actually working a tag team match. And with Harley, so should be fun. Finally something different. Quote

On 3/30/2025 at 7:49 PM, The King Of Swing said: Seriously though is Mone actually contracted to only wrestle in regular singles matches? I wouldn't be so down on her if she actually changed things up a little. Even a tag match or two. Quote

Paid Members RedTwoster Posted April 6, 2025 Paid Members Posted April 6, 2025 That was a cracking episode of Collision, and a rare occasion for any wrestling show in that I watched it from start to finish without skipping anything. It was one of those shows you probably could get away with missing, but it was so fun that you really shouldn’t. I can’t wait for Dynasty. Looking at the card, I feel like I shouldn’t be as enthusiastic as I am, but the build-up has been so good, that I’m wanting to digest anything AEW right now. I’ll even be watching the pre-show, there’s surely going to be a fun surprise for the Max Caster open challenge. Mercedes Mone might be one of the best wrestlers on the planet right now. She has really proven herself in AEW, with pretty much every match being a banger. The only crap match she’s had was against Britt Baker, which says more about Baker than it does her. We all know what the outcome will be of her match with Hart, but I’m looking forward to seeing just how far Julia has come on as an in ring competitor in this one. The only downside to Mone is that her character still sucks, and I hope they can find a way of rectifying that. Ospreay/Knight should also be fun. I’d not even heard of Kevin Knight before he joined AEW, but I’ve been really impressed by him. I hope they have a plan. It was quite the bold claim from Adam Cole to claim he’s run every wrestling promotion he’s been part of. I think I’d find him significantly less tedious if they separated him from his friends. Undisputed Kingdom is arguably the worst stable AEW has ever run with, including The Nightmare Collective. At least that’s stopped when they realised that it wasn’t working, but this feels never ending. I’m sure he and Garcia will have a decent match, but it’s hard to care about it. I feel like AEW has outgrown both wrestlers, and that the talent level is so high, they just don’t need them. Quote

It's actually really grown on me. AEW is a promotion where the top babyfaces always feel genuine and full of passion and heart, so it makes sense that one of the top heels is just completely vapid, soulless, petty and materialistic. She's great. Edited April 6, 2025 by LaGoosh Quote
Paid Members ReturnOfTheMack Posted April 6, 2025 Paid Members Posted April 6, 2025 I just don't care about anything she does. I have no interest in seeing her win or lose, she just exists. Sure she usually has decent to very good matches, but that's hardly a stand out in AEW! Quote
Chili Posted April 6, 2025 Posted April 6, 2025 I actually thought the Garcia/Cole sit down was surprisingly good given Adam Cole was in it and when he's not on a roll I don't really have much time for him. I like the aspect of him trying to gaslight Garcia stating he's not properly ready to be a real champion, much how his story of the Continental Classic was proving he absolutely deserved to be there and prove it. Hopefully Cole doesn't win though. Quote

Generally if I don’t enjoy a character, I don’t enjoy their matches but it’s a weird exception with Mone, I think she’s tremendous and has been a key ingredient in the AEW women’s division becoming the best one in wrestling. Whatever she’s getting paid is worth it. Quote
