He had a good year, but he's not the best footballer in the world, which is what it should be awarded on. If it was true to it's original point of being awarded to the best footballer, Messi would have 20. But it isn't.

Kane didn't win the Bundesliga player of the year either, Olise did. Kane had a great season at Bayern, that's it. He wasn't great at the world cup either. England's 2 most important games, he was their worst player.

He wasn't his club's best player or his country's best player, so how can he be the best player in the world? Wasn't the best player in the Bundesliga, Champions League or the World Cup. And he's not turning up in the biggest moments. In fact, in the biggest games, especially for his country, he's a hindrance.

I don't hate Kane, I just don't think he turns up in big games. And he wasn't his club's best player or his country's. Winning the Bundesliga when they can do that with Choupo Moting up front doesn't impress me much (shout out Shania)

That's fair, but Yamal was definitely Barca's best player last season. Kane wasn't, Olise won their award. Olise was probably better at the world cup than Kane as well. Messi was definitely the best player at the World Cup, and when he went up against Kane, it wasn't even close.

They didn't win the league at his first season at Bayern, after winning 11 leagues in a row. He turned up, they didn't win it. They didn't spend £100million on him for him to win them MORE Bundesliga trophies, he's been signed to win the Champions League. Neither would his goals during the season. Or during the world cup.

Bayern win the league and cup and super cup every year, that's not impressive. They have an award for the best striker, it's called the Gerd Muller award. They have an award for most goals, it's the golden boot. The Ballon Dor is supposed to be for the best footballer, and Kane isn't. He doesn't turn up in big games. Yamal being 19 isn't a reason for him to not win the award.

Not sure how Kane won the Ballon Dor, he wasn't England's best player or Bayern's best player. And he was pretty cowardly in that semi final Vs Argentina, just dropping deeper and deeper, not even thinking about holding the ball up to relieve the pressure. Should really have been Yamal, he's the best footballer in Europe.

Going to need Bandido to get to the finals, the guy is incredible. He's my daughter's favourite wrestler, she's 3 btw. And she asked me a few weeks ago "why do they say Ospreay, Ospreay so much?"
