Worked for Spike Milligan, wrote for The Muppet Show, Not The Nine O'clock News, Life of Brian, millions of other things and of course Thick of It. What a way to throw away a brilliant career. Quote

I'm not sure I buy it and I'll leave it up to others to decide how to feel for themselves. On to a death that everyone will agree is sad (I hope). Sitcom star of the 70s & 80s Richard O'Sullivan has died. Man About the Hose & Robin's Nest was before my time but found Me and my Girl to be funny and rather sweet. And it had Tim Brooke-Taylor in it. His run as Dick Turpin was also appealing to 8 year old me. Quote

There was also another grooming related incident with him prior. Met her when she was 14, but nothing allegedly sexual until she was 18. Dame Heather Steel, who gave the decision, said that the court viewed Langham's explanation that he viewed the child sexual abuse images for research as "highly improbable", but could not reject it What the fuck.
