Chili Posted August 3 Posted August 3 As I'm today's bringer of death news, just found out from another comic that Jimmy Cricket just died today too, aged 80. Quote

This is either gonna end up winning UKFF ongoing gag 2026 or gonna be drilled into the ground faster than the US finding oil deposits and I'm hoping for option A. Quote

davertfnewman Posted August 3 Posted August 3 I was surprised that Gunther von Hagens' death wasn't mentioned here a week or so ago. Yazz's successor in the Plastic Population. Quote

I haven't seen in a fair few years now. Had the pleasure of meeting a lot of the old guard comics from back when like Mick Miller, Stan Boardman, Roy Walker etc, unfortunately I never met Jimmy but a few folk I knew did and it was always in glowing positivity. Paid Members gmoney Posted August 3 Paid Members Posted August 3 (edited) On a Rod Liddle note (must be similar to the brown note) it's very amusing to see people tutting about people saying what cunt he was. His job was to literally be a fucking arsehole and write about it. Edited August 3 by gmoney Quote
Paid Members johnnyboy Posted August 3 Paid Members Posted August 3 I hope I'm never enough of a roaster that hundreds of people will write "sorry to hear it was only a short illness" under my death notice. Quote
