I’m beginning to become the harbinger of death!  Jim Shooter died yesterday aged 73.  He was the chief editor for Marvel between 1978 and 1987 which were the peak years of comics for me.  Were the best years for them as far as I’m concerned and am grateful to him for all the incredible stuff he was responsible for that took me away from the nonsense of my early teens.

Without Jim, we’d have not had the incredible Secret Wars storyline that had both a multi part comic and iconic toy line

Not sure how it slipped through, but one of the undeniable legends of movie themes, Lalo Schifrin died last week (26th June).
 

Mission: Impossible, Bullitt, Dirty Harry, Enter The Dragon, The Man From UNCLE, and a whole lot more. He could fill an album of iconic themes himself.

Also I really love his version of Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D Minor.

Reports breaking that Diego Jota has been killed in a car crash. Not good someone that young 

 

According to updated reports, his brother also died in the same crash. Horrible for the families involved and friends. Like TBR said - talented player

Fucking hell. That is horrendous. Just married, just coming off a season of winning the PL with Liverpool and the Nations League with Portugal - this should have been the best year of his life, and a wonderful time for his family. And his brother only 26? To lose two sons and brothers in the prime of their life - that is just tragic. I agree with deathrey - what their family must be going through right at this moment, I can't even begin to imagine.

Michael Masden, 62. Could be fantastic in things, I've also seen him be shit in a lot of dross. He released a poetry volume that and friend an I were obsessed with because it's really shite, and my mate confessed to me he actually ended up really liking it. RIP.

Michael Masden is a rubbish one. Always had a presence and outside his big roles he also popped up as a drug dealer on Miami Vice on my recent run of that. 
Having also recently watched a lot of Tarantino stuff he’s someone I’ve seen a bit of recently.
