Nip/Tuck was alright back then. I do remember him as Doctor Doom in that second Fantastic Four movie with Fishbourne as Norrin Radd. Did he not have a run out in Neighbours or Home and Away?

Yep. He was indeed in Home and Away. Presumably, that’s where he met Danni Minogue. He was later married to Brooke Burns from Baywatch and the US version of the Chase.

Wayne Dobson has died. Always thought he was one of the better TV magicians because of his sense of humour and the ventriloquism was a great trick. Been ill for a long time.

Wayne Dobson was an incredible magician, even after he was ravaged with MS he continued designing amazing tricks.  Never got the recognition he deserved sadly.

Paul Daniels had the tv magic scene locked up for decades and wouldnt do the job for anyone brother and Wayne wasn’t going to be allowed to break through that glass ceiling. He would occasionally build up a Great Soprendo or Ali Bongo just to job them out.

Anyway RIP Wayne Dobson, it’s (a) kind of tragic.

Crazy that he survived falling from actual SPACE but a paraglider going into a swimming pool killed him. I was shocked to see that his big fall was 2012, I remember watching it live on the iPlayer (I think) and being amazed, then a bit bored briefly then amazed again. Farewell to one the of last remaining true daredevils, off to do crazy stunts in the sky with Evel Knievel, Harry Houdini and that French guy who ate a plane.

He was having a suspected heart attack mid air and crashed into a sculpture before ending up in the pool.
