Doog Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Didn't realise the Stark part, maybe not the best example with that in mind then, though Gunther on its own is fine, but main point still stands Quote

According to Meltzer, he’s on his way to WWE. Can’t say I know enough about him to be able to say whether or not he’s a good get for them, but he’s got an interesting look at least. Quote

Paid Members gmoney Posted January 26 Paid Members Posted January 26 Would be funny if he was really good in WWE, the opposite of the old trope. Quote

Wrestling is missing cool nicknames like that in general I think. ...and before anyone starts, Rhea "Bloody" Ripley and Seth "Frickin" Rollins, are shit We need Bam-Bam's and Crushers and stuff. Just think how much some of these modern names would be improved with classic wrestling nicknames: "Sensational" Ricky Starks, Nathan "The Hammer" Frazier, 'Dangerous" Darby Allin. Already, infinitely cooler. "Gigolo" Johnny Gargano.... Okay, no I've ruined it now. Sorry. Quote

Paid Members RedTwoster Posted February 2 Paid Members Posted February 2 Clark Connors is on the cusp of signing with AEW, according to Fightful. He’s looked decent in the appearances he’s made for the company so far, but at the same time it’s hard to assess his potential from that alone. Is there anyone on here who has seen enough of him to give a good assessment of that? Is this a guy who could feasibly break into the top of the card over time, or not so much? Quote

I’ve only seen him in AEW and I haven’t been too impressed so far - he just blends in, he’s too similar in look, size and style to dozens of guys they’ve already got. Quote
