The King Of Swing Posted May 12 Posted May 12 https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2026/may/09/mps-from-labours-left-to-urge-ed-miliband-to-consider-leadership-bid Won't lie "Red" Ed being the one to topple Starmer, would be fucking hilarious. I can already imagine the rags melting down as he power walks into No10, munching a bacon sandwich. Elsewhere his brother sobs into his cornflakes. Quote

It boggles my mind that anyone could look at Wes Streeting and think would be better. As much as people question the real popularity of Andy Burnham, I've never heard a kind word said about Streeting. An odious student politics boil. If the Labour Party think the best replacement for Starmer coming off the back of a Peter Mandelson scandal is Peter Mandelson's biggest fanboy, they deserve everything they're getting. Quote

His majority is microscopic too, so unless they parachuted him somewhere safer, there'd be the very real possibility of a prime minister losing his seat at the election. Quote

The close second was an independent, it would depend on where their votes went. In his area Labour did fairly well in local elections so I don't think he would be at huge risk. But I think any Labour leader will be at risk really, Raynor is MP for Ashton and Reform will target that seat, they destroyed Labour at the local elections. Miliband in Doncaster, yeah Reform. Quote

Paid Members gmoney Posted May 13 Paid Members Posted May 13 I sort of hope he just pushed Streeting's head against the wall with his forearm for 17 minutes and said nothing. Quote
Paid Members Carbomb Posted May 13 Paid Members Posted May 13 Worse still, this apparently happened yesterday. Quote
Merzbow Posted May 13 Posted May 13 Wes Streeting is resigning as Health Secretary, the cunt is going for it. Quote
