Paid Members Chris B Posted June 10, 2022 Author Paid Members Share Posted June 10, 2022 I get that this may be less appealing a show for those that don't know NJPW yet - after all, we've seen Dave Finlay being alright, Jay White being there, the Great O'Kahn being odd but probably intriguing, Will Ospreay being a technically impressive edgelord dickhead, and Tanahashi standing on a stage with his glorious hair. Hopefully they have some more to do, and will explain why we should give a shit about Tanahashi and Okada in particular, but... man, it's a weird one a few weeks out. As someone more invested in some reasonably-recent NJPW, Moxley vs Tanahashi and Hangman vs Okada could both be genuinely great, dramatic matches. I'm genuinely very up for both of those, and enough to be excited about the show. I'm hoping they can capture some of that in the upcoming shows.
