That being said I'm currently reading in a bar while my mates are doing shots so I've clearly evolved into something I feared. What you reading daddio? Between two books, a novel called How To Kill Your Family and Chloe Hayden's self help book on autism "Different Not Less". I got many glares. deathrey
I've read How To Kill Your Family, it's great though I didn't find the ending very satisfactory.

I'm sure the bit of greenery and the tomatoes on the vine will offend some here though. Â Â Absolutely. Has no business being on any fry up plate. Awards Moderator Frankie Crisp Posted December 2, 2023 Author Awards Moderator Share Posted December 2, 2023 Shambles Tavern, York. Smashing. Apart the bacon doing an impression of Simon Weston, this was top drawer. Crispy black pudding, perfect hash browns and delicious sausages. A tenner. Considering a pint around here is over half that, this was a steal. 8.5/10. Cracking little boozer, too. Recommended if anyone’s ever up this way. Paid Members Carbomb Posted December 2, 2023 Paid Members Share Posted December 2, 2023 I'd love to visit York again - gorgeous city. The Shambles is always worth a visit, so that fry-up is a definite for when I get to go.
Paid Members ReturnOfTheMack Posted December 9, 2023 Paid Members Share Posted December 9, 2023 Taken the car in for a windscreen replacement. Nipped into a nearby Italian for breakfast, proper good stuff. Though I do wish I'd gone for the fried egg not poached.

I am also so jealous of you having to pop out to replace a windscreen, the older I get the more I live for little jobs like that. What a day you’re having!
