If you just push the 'ending the Cold War' stuff to one side and accept that the acting is a bit dodgy (especially compared to the brilliant acting on the first movie), it's the most enjoyable Rocky movie. It is a hell of a spectacle. Cracking piece of cinema. Vince DiCola at the height of his powers as well, between this and Transformers The Movie. Aliens and Alien? Lauryn Hill kicking ass and showing that, if she wanted, she could be an amazing actor but decided against it and started The Fugees instead. The final scene of them performing Joyful, Joyful is something I still get up on YouTube and I watch it every time I see it on TV which seems to be all the time. Quote
