My favourite story about Glenn was his first day at Norwich, he walked in with a briefcase and bollocked the dressing room. "Right then you pack of cunts, I'm not going to have any of that shite that you gave the previous manager" and then he threw the briefcase off the wall and there was nothing inside it. He only brought it to make him look less of a mug than his reputation at West Ham and Newcastle suggested. John Hartson then told everyone "he's not usually like that. He's being a fraud." Poor cunt couldnt just have his moment.

Trevor Peacock has died aged 89. Some laughs watching him on a Saturday night back in the day. RIP x

He was absolutely phenomenal in the 3rd series of Wish Me Luck as Resistance Leader, Renard

There's not much about online, but an over view is here. Has a stella cast throughout and is worth a watch if you fancy it.

Most don't know that Trevor Peacock was also a major figure in the early years of British Rock N Roll. Writing songs for Billy Fury and Adam Faith amongst others. Also wrote the scripts for early british Pop and Rock n Roll shows like Oh Boy! He had a few singles out in the early 60s and wrote Mrs Brown you've got a lovely daughter for Herman's Hermits. RIP

He really was the voice of F1. I don't think anybody has ever been able to make F1 sound as exciting as when he called it. Even during those dark days where it was like a glorified procession.
