I think I have to give in to my initial instincts after watching Elimination Chamber, and just accept it's not for me this year.

I just don't care.

In my 'like' column, in terms of their main event, I have Cody, Punk, Roman and Cena. In my 'absolutely fuck off' column I have The Rock. and Seth Rollins. A few months ago it looked like the odds were in my favour, as they basically promoted Punk/Rollins at the Netflix premiere as an end-of-feud match AND The Rock seemed to be stepping back on the same show.

I allowed myself to dream.

But, no, everything I love is covered in The Rock and Rollins' stink.

I'll watch, mostly to see how my BIG FOUR cope but... yeah... from a personal perspective, Wrestlemania couldn't have shaken out much worst.

How long was Otis just standing there in the ring? 10 minutes?

After a great Punk promo and brawl with the cunt the show fell to shit, endless ads with Kid Steiner selling tax help, these guys looking like the chunkopops lad on webcam fake reacting to stuff and Gunther being the worst booked world champion I can remember.

Then they did the soyface guys on cam, again...

WWE just isn't for me but I'll bootleg 'Mania and half watch it.

As excited as I am for Cody/Cena, I’m slightly concerned they’ll try to get away with keeping Cena away from WWE until Wrestlemania itself, convincing themselves that people will tune in wanting to know what heel Cena looks like and what his theme song is. We’ll see though.

Cena is advertised for the next 3 Raw's after next week, so we won't have to wait to long to see what heel Cena looks like.

Can't wait for Triple Threat Mania.

Reigns vs Punk vs Rollins

Sky vs Rhea vs Bianca

AJ vs Balor vs Breaker

Sami vs KO vs Orton

War Raiders vs Creeds vs New Day

DIY vs MCMG vs Pretty Deadly

Nakamura vs Knight vs Hayes

Fond memories of Mania 16 where the only rivalry hot enough to be settled in a singles match was Terri vs The Kat.

Punk cuts an amazing promo, I'm ready for this. Give me the triple threat, who cares? Heel Cena vs Cody is gonna rock.

I've seen the Mania 16 comparison made for several weeks. I'm assuming they have too and think it's a compliment?

Close the forum. You've all been wasting your time.

Whilst I'm not going to join the 'I saw Cena heel turn coming' camp, I definitely was expecting him to be absent from RAW, why? Hogan was absent from the NIRTO after his heel turn. This is this generations Hogan heel turn moment , so i'm expecting them to follow the same playbook

The Punk v Roman v Rollins triple threat isn't my first choice by any means but I wouldn't be surprised if they've sold it to me by the time it comes around, especially with Punk's promos. They really need to heat up the Punk/Roman side of things but you'd imagine that'll start next week. Wouldn't surprise me if something happens like Reigns returns to go after Rollins but his involvement ends up costing Punk the cage match.

Hopefully they cool down on the multi person matches though. The Womens World Title match is clearly going to be a triple threat now, and the Smackdown Tag Title and IC Title pictures both have multiple people involved. You've got two nights now to build feuds for people so there's no excuse to be changing things to fit people on the card anymore.

Good promo from Punk. The only problem with putting him and The Rock against each other is that they are a pair of scurvy skinned shitehawks and they could both take offence at something that is said and it could go all Shooty McShootface and downhill very quickly.

Speaking of shitehawks, Seth appeared and we had the latest instalment of Paul's Pull Apart Brawl, where The exec producer books a big pull apart brawl that involves security. The crowd in the arena are always going to lap it up but even as someone who has defended it in the past I can see that for the TV viewer it's getting repetitive.

I would now like to thank @BomberPat for ruining wrestling for me. I have always managed up until now to block out the shocked face audience reactions and focus on the match, but thanks to our chat yesterday all I could see at the end of Skye v Ripley was the blue yeet t shirted bellend in the crowd. Thank you Patrick.
