There’s been tons of subtle changes to how it looks over the past year or two and you can really see it now. Little camera angles and areas you’ve never really seen before. It feels like you’re watching a real live show now in a completely different place from last week as opposed to it looking like a pre record in the same venue as it always is. Kai vs Nile was OK, I was very confused when the Kairopractor only got 2, I had no idea Dakota had upgraded to a new finish. Bit funny trying to build suspense for her crack at Lyra considering she literally just lost to Bayley. Enjoyed Styles vs “safe hands” Dom… funny how whenever someone returns (Orton, Punk, AJ) it’s Dom that gets trusted with their first singles match back. Was dreading Penta vs Dunne but Pete mostly kept on the ground and thus was a decent foil for Penta. I had actually seen them wrestle live many years ago in Lucha Bros vs Bruisercats but my prevailing memory of that match was how shit Sami Callihan was. I hope Kaiser hanging around doesn’t lead to a random triple threat match! Gunther did some talking to build for the Uso match and inevitably they chose violence. Does “the champ” ever wrestle?? He wasn’t at the Rumble and that they’re building him and Jey for Mania suggests he won’t defend at the Chamber either. That sucks, he’s not Lesnar for Christs sake. Raquel vs Roxanne was OK, thought we were getting a Rodriguez showcase early on before it ended up a storyline finish. That fancy moonsault of Roxi is too cool to not be a finish IMO. Did I imagine it or did she have “Juicy” on her derrière? I can’t imagine too many pervs noticed with Liv ringside in those jorts, to be blunt. The women’s chamber is incredibly lopsided, there’s only one baddie in it unless Naomi turns. Didn’t watch Balor vs Rollins, while on paper I like watching both of them wrestle I’ve seen it too many times to waste time watching a match we knew Seth would win. Looking forward to Ripley vs Io. Out of all the match combinations WWE could offer, I’m almost certain this is the one that interests me least; in the sense that I couldn’t even face watching it. Balor is about as dull a high profile wrestler as I can remember, I struggle to care about anything he does. And Rollins is Rollins. On the whole I enjoyed Raw, in spite of a main event that repelled me. The New Day are still getting a great reaction, and while I’m guessing we’ll get Rey/Penta vs New Day at Wrestlemania, I really hope we get Rey/Big E vs New Day. I’m guessing we’ll get a development in the Jade/Bianca/Naomi story that doesn’t involve Liv and Raquel next week, but I’m not entirely sure where they go with it at Wrestlemania. A triple threat, maybe? I know they changed direction on the Chad Gable storyline, but I hope the resolution isn’t simply to have him come back one week with no real detail as to what his time away involved. Is it going to be Sami vs Karrion Kross at Wrestlemania?! It certainly looks that way at this stage. As much as I’m enjoying Karrion right now, I’m not sure how I feel about that. It’s certainly an opportunity for him to prove he can match his strong character work with good wrestling. I hope he does just that, if that’s the direction they take here. Quote

He’s always said he hopes to be cleared someday but he’s at peace if he isn’t. Quote
