deathrey
The minister for Education that was appointed 2 days ago has apparently stepped down.
Paid Members Duke Posted July 7, 2022 Paid Members Share Posted July 7, 2022 He's resigned. Will carry on til October. Â Genuinely one of the worst PMs we've ever had.
deathrey
I was discussing this with my brother yesterday who is a bit of a history buff, surely he will go down in history as one of the worst ever.

Paid Members chokeout Posted July 7, 2022 Paid Members Share Posted July 7, 2022 (edited) Annnnd he's gone, except he hasn't. Will resign but stay on till the autumn. We now get a lame duck period with every cunt under the sun peacocking to put themselves forward for the leadership race. Edited July 7, 2022 by chokeout
Loki
He's done such a lot of damage to the Tories this week by clinging on, and by clinging on in general since the Partygate scandal. Â Let's hope voters remember this in 2 years time (ha!) Next up - Durham Police will fine Starmer, they've been put under HUGE political pressure to do so. Paid Members Fatty Facesitter Posted July 7, 2022 Paid Members Share Posted July 7, 2022 Overdue but to suffer through with him until October will still be miserable. The ink isn't even wet on the resignation letter yet, and already Conservative MPs are going back to lauding and praising him as this sort of cuddly teddy bear figure who apparently got us out of the doldrums. The Boris love-in is going to be more insufferable now than ever. When he does move out of Downing Street, he'll be fucking omnipresent on multiple outlets spouting his nonsense - he'll still have a massive band of loyal followers that will hang on his every word. So while today is a big day, the cunt will still be a big presence for some time.
Keith Houchen
At least the jam allotment man didn’t win though. Fuck all the blue ticks, the journalists, the centrists, the Labour activists who put him in the job. They need to own it, but they won’t.

Loki
They can't let him stay in position until the autumn though, as he can't actually form a government right now. Â There was a bill meant to be introduced to the House today, that can't be because Johnson can't find anyone to take that Ministerial position. The obvious choice for me, is to appoint May as interim PM until a new leader is voted on. Â She can re-appoint everyone who was a Minister 2 days ago for the time being. Depends on your persuasion. If you're already anti-Tory then yes. But a lot of thick as fuck gammon cunts I know are already proclaiming him as the PM who 'got Brexit done' and 'got us through the pandemic'. One bloke in the pub last night said without Johnson in charge we wouldn't have got any furlough payments during the lockdown. Because no other country on earth had a similar system in place, did it? Thick as pigshit, the lot of them.
