I'm not a wrestler and if I was the top rope would be well out of bounds, but looking at that I don't see how you don't smash the back of your head from the recoil. AVM Posted December 16, 2020 Share Posted December 16, 2020 The only way I could conceivably see how a top rope powerbomb wouldn’t have the effect would be if it were a sit down powerbomb where the person delivering the move takes most of the impact. Obviously, this isn’t a sit out version. Short answer, I don’t think it would be possible. I’m not a wrestler in any way shape or form, but did a few months of training.
