I remember him cutting a promo around this time where he was acting nervous and saying how he "wasn't scared" (when obviously he was). The acting was simply brilliant. I can only think that the fact Luger walked out of the WWF overnight and showed up on the first Nitro the next evening left some bitterness from people in the WWF at the time which is probably why their version of history hasn't been too kind to Lex.
