Moderators PowerButchi Posted October 4, 2017 Moderators Share Posted October 4, 2017 It didn't have to be. But they saw the success of Progress and ICW and ITV thought as a commercial entity "yes please!". Always an issue of non wrestling people seeing wrestling as a tree to make planks from. He got an email response a couple of days later which was just one sentence: "We need 22 million dollars" Wouldn't be surprised. I remember Heyman answering my stupid emails in 1998 and 1999. Paid Members mim731 Posted February 13, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted February 13, 2018 I am also blocked by Noel Clarke on Twitter, because I gave a less-than-favourable review to one of his films. Makes me think he's a bit thin-skinned to be getting involved with wrestling.
Paid Members Statto Posted April 21, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted April 21, 2018 So this has just popped up on my Facebook: https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=2052873141408464&id=201810899848040 Tapings in Norwich in a few weeks time, if this is to be believed. Days after WAW's next set of shows there, FWIW...
westlondonmist
10 to 15 hours of TV with 5 tapings. I would assume 1 hour TV. So an actual TV series
uklaw
I don’t see this going down well with the local, long-established (and trusted) outfit as well as some of the fans as well.   There’s WWE using Epic Studios and then there's WOS Wrestling using it... WWE is WWE so they’d always get an audience. But WOS? Not sure. This may not have as much of a turnout if there is enough pushback. With Anthem seemingly out of the picture, production-wise, I wonder who has picked this up to run? Rosler28
World of sport would be best suited if it was a online show where it showcases different matches from different promotions on a weekly basis serving as a advertisement for a different wrestling promotion each week. Basically like wrestletalk but without the bias towards NGW
Snitsky's back acne
Epics production facilities seem decent from the WAW stuff Ive seen but for whatever reason they just did not work when WWE taped there. I don't know the reasons why but the snippets shown from those taping looked really amateur compared to WWEs usual standards. Â
Paid Members Your Fight Site Posted April 21, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted April 21, 2018 So are these takings in collaboration with WAW? Or has ITV just decided to rock up at the venue out of left field to tape these shows?
Snitsky's back acne
Apparently WAW are having meetings and will be making a statement about it later according to Ricky on Facebook.

A collaboration with WAW hadn’t occured to me, though checking out the comments on the Lost In TV Facebook page, the only comment Ricky Knight responded to/thanked was a man saying in no uncertain terms that he wouldn’t be going.
