Paid Members Jazzy G Posted March 11, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted March 11, 2019 (edited) I love the ridiculous faces he pulled at the tinlme. It's like he's allowed to use facial expressions after having had to pretty much deadpan for almost a decade. If he hadn't been doing his biker stuff in 2001 and was still the deadman how different would the invasion had gone? They'd have needed to find a different way to bring DDP in for a start. Edited March 11, 2019 by jazzygeofferz

That's multi WCW champion DDP, allegedly not famous, yet other WCW hires like Kronik, Kidman and Chavo were famous enough

Actual wrestling fans don’t like seeing workers like Jr doing dumb spots for kids that the E booked him to do when they restricted his moveset. The Dart
They’re either expecting a load of current NXT guys to be moving on soon (either to different brands, or a mass firing of sone of the gobshites that are in NXT) or NXT’s going to be expanding.  They’ve signed so many people recently. With them doing an "International Superstar Shake-Up" after Wrestlemania, I think we're getting even more than the usual number of post-Mania call-ups, plus the recent NXT call-ups getting assigned brands, and some of the NXT crew getting shifted to NXT UK, and maybe even some of the main roster back down to NXT/UK. If they're serious about expanding into other territories, following the UK model, hiring guys with TV experience to be the workhorses for developmental programmes in countries where the talent are mostly lacking that skillset would make sense.
