Paid Members Accident Prone Posted December 22, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted December 22, 2016 Dan Severn's WWF doom metal entrance music doesn't get talked about enough. Absolutely cracking theme.
WyattSheepMask
At a time when they were getting real bands in to do themes, someone should have got on the phone to Neurosis to do that Severn theme
Paid Members Jazzy G Posted December 22, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted December 22, 2016 That Severn theme was monstrous.
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted December 22, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted December 22, 2016 Shame it was given to someone who didnt fit the time period at all. That was proper monster music. Like "oh shit, here he comes" type theme. Nobody was happy when Dan Severn would turn up. It would be like giving Sid's theme to The Real Double J. Paid Members Kaz Hayashi Posted December 22, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted December 22, 2016 To be fair, he was a monster but in a technical sporting sense. He should have come down to the grandstand theme.
Paid Members JNLister Posted December 23, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted December 23, 2016 Some guy on Celebrity Mastermind did "WWE in the 1990s" (which of course doesn't exist, but hey ho.) You can watch it on iPlayer, but he got 12 out of 12 and they were so easy as to be the equivalent of somebody doing "The Premier League in the 1990s" and the questions being "Which team from Manchester won the league lots." Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted December 23, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted December 23, 2016 Christ, those questions were shocking! I thought you were taking the piss slightly, but you couldnt make them any easier. Like instead of just "Who was the first Hall of Famer?" They expanded on it by basically telling you who it was. Â "Who was the first inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame, who died in 1993 and who stood 7'4" and who had 90 teeth and who did a weird hip toss as a finisher and who's first name was Andre?" Â "Ugh, Fred Blassie?"

Paid Members Lorne Malvo Posted December 23, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted December 23, 2016 She was, and probably still is, absolutely gorgeous. There's hope for all of us if a podgy, sweater fucker like Dreamer can end up with a girl like her.
Paid Members Jazzy G Posted December 23, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted December 23, 2016 Hoe did they do on the general knowledge round? I always recall Myleene Klass going on Celebrity Mastermind about ten years ago with a specialist subject of "Sex & The City Series 3". She aced the round (17/18) to the point that she was in the lead going into the general knowledge then only got a single question right. And like the guy above said, it's not like the celebrity mastermind questions are anywhere near as challenging as the ones on Mastermind proper.
Guest
It was pretty much the same story for this guy. Flubbed the general knowledge round in a big way, after sailing through the piss-easy WWE questions. Â Edit: Nice avatar by the way.
