Today I learned that the theme to Button Moon was sung by Peter Davison and his wife, Sandra Dickinson.

I'm absolutely astounded that I didn't already know this, especially when you consider how old I was when he the Fifth Doctor.

Wow! Button moon. One of my most fondly remembered kids TV shows. That theme tune brings warm feelings to the fore. Thanks for reminding us of it.

If you're sailing in the middle of the ocean, you're further from people on land than you would be as an astronaut on the international space station.

Pretty obvious considering the ISS is only orbiting at about 250 miles, but it was underwhelming realising that fact as a space nerd.

Absolutely, Chest. It's the wonder of the unknown that's always appealed to me regarding space. No different from our oceans. No matter how much we learn about them we'll never be able to comprehend the sheer scale of what's there.

Blue Planet 2, especially the last one, was pretty devastating for showing just how joyfully undiscovered much of the ocean is and yet how ruthlessly we're fucking it up at the same time.

Is it shown in America, by any chance? Can we all chip in for ad space to put it on after Fox & Friends?
