Guest
I never actually bother to check, so that might be the case for some of mine for all I know.
Stylin_and_Profilin
Upon learning the sad news of Frank Vincent passing away i have realised thst he and Dennis Farina are two completely different people having always previously thought he played Cousin Avi in Snatch. Keith Houchen
I thought that David Warner was Professor Falken in Wargames until a year or so ago.
Paid Members Kaz Hayashi Posted September 18, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted September 18, 2017 That the narrator of 'in the night garden' Derek Jakobi is also the narrator and in the final scene of the 'inside no 9' Christmas special. He's been in loads of stuff including Day of the Jackal, Godford Park, Gladiator and The Kings Speech.

As you say, he's done loads of stuff, including a couple of roles in "Tales Of The Unexpected". And, whilst it's a bit of a blot on an otherwise respectable career, he's been most recognisable to recent audiences playing alongside Sir Ian McKellen in "Vicious". If so, can't wait till someone clues you in about John Gielgud's pre-"Arthur 2: On the Rocks" career.
Moderators Astro Hollywood Posted September 18, 2017 Moderators Share Posted September 18, 2017 The best thing I ever learned about Jacobi was in that old thread on here about school nicknames, where three different posters said they had a kid in their school that everyone called Cadfael. If you extrapolate that out to the rest of the school population nationwide, that's a lot of kids known as Cadfael.
Paid Members Sergio Mendacious Posted September 18, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted September 18, 2017 I think I must have been one of those, we definitely had a Cadfael.

WyattSheepMask
My proudest moment on the board came from that thread, were I told the story of Bum Gull. Someone will have to remind me why the kid was called Cadfael though
Paid Members Sergio Mendacious Posted September 18, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted September 18, 2017 Pretty sure for our Cadfael, it was the barnet. Or else, because he always had the monk on.
