Mr_Danger Posted February 11, 2025 Posted February 11, 2025 I googled it. It’s definitely a film and not an elaborate sketch to promote the next series of I Think You Should Leave. I’ll be watching that on my own then. Quote

I’m not going to say I was wrong, but I definitely think I was in a mood when I saw it, because it’s stuck with me more then some films I saw in 2024, so it did something right. Quote

Sounds like it was really my bag too, Will (Magruber) Forte as Wile E Coyote's lawyer vs John Cena as head of Acme in a hybrid live action cartoon. I think some version if this has been in development for like well over a decade from what I remember. Is Will Forte best know for Macgruber? Maybe last man on earth, I think he's hilarious in any case. Someone bought it off Warner Bros and it's gonna be released finally, I'm so pleased. Fuck Warner Bros for burying the Looney Tunes. Quote
Awards Moderator Onyx2 Posted April 2, 2025 Awards Moderator Posted April 2, 2025 Fincher directing a Tarantino script? Yes fucking please https://deadline.com/2025/04/netflix-david-fincher-brad-pitt-resurrect-quentin-tarantino-script-followup-on-once-upon-a-time-in-hollywood-1236356641/ Quote
Paid Members LaGoosh Posted April 3, 2025 Paid Members Posted April 3, 2025 Hopefully he cuts the Tarantino dialogue down by about 20%. I'm very intrigued by this. I get the feeling Tarantino shot himself in the foot a bit by announcing he was only going to direct 10 films. He should have waited til after 10 films to say he was done. Now any expectations for a new film by him are going to be through the roof, I wouldn't be surprised if he's made it all a bit too daunting for himself. Quote
Merzbow Posted April 23, 2025 Posted April 23, 2025 Sophie Thatcher getting her biggest job yet? Both great news but it's also that hack Refn.. Quote
Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted April 23, 2025 Paid Members Posted April 23, 2025 Yeah, that's some cast. Melton, Havana Rose Liu and Kristine Froseth are excellent actors, too. But Refn fucking sucks now. Quote
Paid Members air_raid Posted April 25, 2025 Paid Members Posted April 25, 2025 (edited) I had a joke theory not long ago that soon we won't be able to watch any film made relatively recently without encountering someone who's been in the MCU. Over Easter we watched No Hard Feelings (Ebon Moss-Bachrach, soon to be The Thing in Fantastic Four, has a small role), Don't Worry Darling (starring Florence Pugh (Yelena from Black Widow/Thunderbolts) and Harry Styles (Starfox cameo in Eternals) with Gemma Chan (Minn-Erva and Sersi in Captain Marvel and Eternals respectively) supporting, part-watched a Potter film in the background (David Bradley who is Filch and best known as Walder Frey in Thrones, was the church keeper in the opening scene of Captain America : The First Avenger) and then watched DC League of Super-Pets (feat John Krasinski who was an alt Reed Richards in Multiverse of Madness, Alfred Molina who was an alt Dr Octopus in Spiderman No Way Home, and Natasha Lyonne who's also going to be in Fantastic Four) followed by Masterminds (starring Owen Wilson/Mobius M Mobius from Loki). And crowned it with The Nanny Diaries which despite pre-dating the birth of the MCU featured (spoilers) Nat Romanov shagging Steve Rogers. Well, it was inevitable that it happened somewhen. We're not completely there yet however, we also watched Water for Elephants which featured no mutants, aliens or enhanceds. Unless someone knows something I don't and there was a timeline where Bishop Brennan stopped Thanos. Edited April 25, 2025 by air_raid You address me by my proper title, you little bollocks! Quote
