A couple of bits of huge news.

A number of the Golden Princess films have never had official releases and many have never been remastered.

So that's why I had to find HD bootlegs some weird dude made of The Killer and Hard Boiled? They were actually really well done for a one person project but he ended up running away with a load of peoples money..

I'm finding Kneecap being up for Outstanding British Film hilarious. I want them to win, but I also want whoever awards them with it to really over-emphasise the British bit.

At last!

Highly recommend the first one, it's really good and I'm not just saying that as an Affleck Ultra. Genuinely didn't expect such a well researched portrayal of autism in it either.

That Robbie Williams monkey biopic has absolutely tanked. $110m budget and made $2m in the US and $15m in the rest of the world.

For a film about a popstar who has no fan base in the US they hedged their bets a lot that people were going to see it there. Director Michael Gracey, who directed Greatest Showman & Rocket Man and this, put his own money into it too.

Surprisingly it's getting great reviews. 7.7/10 on IMDb from 10000 reviews and 88% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Thats because it's not an awful film. Better than Bohemian Rhapsody, not as good as a Rocketman but the marketing was abysmal and it's a weird concept for a film, taking out Robbie Williams popularity. It didn't deserve to bomb, but than that can be said about a lot of films in recent times (yes, I mean you Furiosa).

I didn’t realise Furiosa tanked so badly. Surely they knew that a Maxless Mad Max film wasn’t going to do as well as Fury Road which didn’t perform particularly great. Still, if I were a studio I’d back an eoic mid apocalyptic car opera action movie over a musical about Robbie Williams starring Robbie Williams as a monkey.
