Scotland's big problem is the goalkeeper situation - astonishingly, we are bringing 3 keepers who have played a total of 270 minutes of league football between them. (Craig Gordon (who is 43) - 226 minutes. Angus Gunn - 45 minutes. Liam Kelly - 0 minutes. By contrast, our midfield is full of superb talent (McTominay, McGinn, Gilmour, Ferguson, Gannon-Doak).

Given that I was 7 the last time we were at the World Cup, I'm so excited for it. 3 points against Haiti is an absolute must if we have any chance. Knowing Scotland though, the typical thing will be to lose to Haiti to crush all moral, fight back with a great performance against Morocco only to concede a devastating 98th minute goal and then somehow beat Brazil only to go out the tournament on goal difference. Bring it on!

then somehow beat Brazi

You can currently get 9/1 on this which is incredibly short, but Brazil will probably be through by then so its well worth 20 quid.

Steve Bull was in the World Cup Italia squad I think?

On the pitch during the Belgium game, shouting “Bullys!” as Gascoigne floated his cross in. Platt, thankfully, ignored him.

Isn’t it true you once had a trial for QPR?

I hope Dan Burn plays every single match because the comedy that will ensue will make the entire tournament.

I would have taken Maguire if I was Tommy Tickles tbh.

I know he was a meme for a while but he's been excellent for United all season, he has played a LOT of football, he is brilliant in both boxes, he's generally played really well for England and he has a fucking sensational penalty on him.

Yeh, but he has to think about getting this year's harvest in. The farm won't run itself

Maguire should’ve gone over Stones considering the amount of games he’s played this season compared to Stones.

Luke Shaw has played all premier league games, his first season without getting an injury and doesn’t get a call up.

Henderson has played 38 minutes of football since Englands last game in March. A bizarre call up, even if he is respected.

I want England to lose so I don’t know why I care so much about who’s been picked and hasn’t. I guess it’s just really annoyed me. Maybe Harry Redknapp was right. Tuchel has been sent here to fuck over England.

I mean I don't really care but do think Gibbs-White should have probably gone, definitely over Henderson. Wharlton possibly as well but not sure who makes way.

Other than that I think Tuchel has got it right dropping Foden/Palmer & Maguire.

Tuchel made a good point about wanting a strong mentality in the team and Maguire throwing his toys out the pram before the squad was officially announced probably proves Tuchels point.

Remember, you need to refer to him as Big Dan Burn at all times.

Already told my son off for not using his full government name in the family group chat.

Maguire having his best season for United and Shaw having his best one since the lockdown season and not getting picked is the sort of ruthless decision making England needed but in all the wrong places.
