He was the boo boys favourite and a load of Sun readers were up in arms about him being a Canadian who grew up in Germany. Remember on here a load of people slagged him too. Wasn't running around and making hollywood passes like the other lads. Quote

He had a good tournament as I recall! Quote

King Mal the Glorious Posted June 4 Posted June 4 The Football Manager guy? Might have to give that a listen. Quote
Browser Brady Posted June 4 Posted June 4 (edited) Always loved this, takes me right back to World Cup 1998, this was the theme tune to ITV’s coverage. Edited June 4 by Browser Brady Quote

Yeah, he has a second channel where he just talks shit about football. I met him near Wembley a couple of weeks ago. He was doing some stuff for the play-offs. Was quite surreal to meet a yank YouTuber wearing a Hull City scarf. I don't think he was offended by me asking "WTF are you doing here?" Quote

TibBo Posted June 5 Posted June 5 My kid was looking at his wallchart this morning, and while browsing Group K said 'Doctor Congo?' Spat my tea across the table at him... Quote

Paid Members Lion_of_the_Midlands Posted June 5 Paid Members Posted June 5 Using the predictor Rick posted in the actual world cup thread I've predicted my Curacao win. Win the group obviously. Round of 32. Beat the hosts Round of 16. Beat France QF. Beat the birth nation of all but 1 of the team. SF. See of the Spanish Final. Crush the Germans Quote
Members SuperBacon Posted June 5 Author Members Posted June 5 I can't be arsed to do a whole prediction, but I do think England will win it, and have said this since the last World Cup. I look at their squad, and think only Spain can rival it in terms of depth, especially the attack options. The only thing holding them back would be the heat and humidity, but the majority of European countries will struggle with that probably. Cue a disappointing QF exit for them again. Brilliantly seen Belgium described as dark horses, which will be the 400th tournament they've been labelled that. Quote
