Brilliantly seen Belgium described as dark horses, which will be the 400th tournament they've been labelled that

I remember being down the pub before the 2022 World Cup and not only hearing them being described as dark horses, but a bloke claiming they were going to win it because “they have Dries Mertens”. Who was 35 years old at the time.

I look at their squad, and think only Spain can rival it in terms of depth, especially the attack options.

Have France boycotted or something?

I don't think England win a tournament in those conditions. We already struggle because of the load on the players when we arrive at most tournaments but at least the Euros only being 6 games and being held in familiar climate gives us a chance. I think we'll do well but run out of steam against Brazil/Spain/France in the QF or SF.

Their attacking options are ridiculous, but I look at the rest of the squad and don't think it's all that to be honest. Probably comparable to England in my opinion.

Need a bit of luck and all that, but I don't see why England can't go really deep into the competition. Apart from the issues I've mentioned.

I think it's stacked all over. Possibly centre-mid isn't what it was but they've got a top keeper, great starting defence and good options, quality at number 10 and then ridiculous attacking options. No out and out striker as good as Kane but as a collective, Mbappe, Olise, Dembele, Doue, Barcola, Thuram and Mateta are better than anyone elses by miles.

As long as the heat doesn't ruin it, I think it's a fascinating comp because I could see Spain, France, England, Brazil, Argentina or Germany winning it, wouldn't be at all surprised if Portugal, Belgium, Netherlands, Croatia, Norway or Mexico went real deep and then there are an absolute ton of dark horses like Japan, Turkey, USA, Ghana, Senegal, Colombia, Ivory Coast and Morocco who could do a "Morocco" with the right conditions and momentum.

It's only a pity it's a nocturnal event and Trump and Infantino have spent years wiping the shine off it.

On to more important things, apparently these are coming to McDonalds next week!

Do I, a 41 year old man, want them all? Of course I do.

If you find any other good World Cup tat, whack it in here.

Don’t like Budweiser but I had to get these for the cans as I like collecting tat like that.

I can't be arsed to do a whole prediction, but I do think England will win it, and have said this since the last World Cup.

I look at their squad, and think only Spain can rival it in terms of depth, especially the attack options. The only thing holding them back would be the heat and humidity, but the majority of European countries will struggle with that probably.

Cue a disappointing QF exit for them again.

Was flirting with the idea of an England Win and Kane top scorer double .

Odd selection. Is world football in such a state that there are not nine stars at this world cup big enough to grace the side of a McDonald's cup? Assume the image rights of some big names like Messi and Ronaldo weren't attainable.

I've had to take that from the yank ones they've had, maybe we'll get different ones?

Can't wait for a BIG DAN BURN cup.

I think Messi is a Pepsi man, the twat.

Just read that Guillermo Ochoa's in the Mexico squad. Absolutely love that guy, possibly my favourite keeper of the last 20 years. Definitely one of the most under-appreciated.

Looks like they couldn’t get the rights to Beckham either by the state of that picture?

Thought it was The Miz by the state of his teeth.
