The Iran football association's 8% of the tickets have been cancelled. That's more bending over from FIFA, the useless twats. However, given the amount of Iranians in and around California, I think they'll still have plenty of local support. A slight silver lining might be that some people avoid travelling and getting refused entry anyway. Quote
Members SuperBacon Posted June 9 Author Members Posted June 9 I haven't looked into whether or not it can happen, but I think I speak for everyone when I say we need to see the yanks vs Iran at some point in this World Cup. Quote

I think it can happen in the first part of the knock outs. Iran knocking out the USA would be great, Trump pressing the big red button afterwards not so much. Quote
Paid Members Carbomb Posted June 9 Paid Members Posted June 9 I just think there are going to be several instances of ICE kidnapping tourists and team members on flimsy pretexts or lack of caring about information. They've already done it to white British tourists, so that shows you how much on an anti-foreigner tip they are. Quote

Rossman Posted June 9 Posted June 9 Having a look at the squads. After England, the next national team with the most amount of Premier League players in it, is Netherlands. 15 of the 26 man squad play in the PL currently. Only 2 from the Eredvisie are in the squad. Scotland are at 9 Premier League players. Quote

I hope Ross Armstrong gets a look in at this World Cup, been really impressed with him whenever I've been to see Southampton this season, and think he's a cut above the other forwards. Quote

thevestofdeanambrose Posted June 9 Posted June 9 Come on then lads who has everyone got winning the whole thing? European teams look stronger on paper but will the weather play a part? Im predicting yes, so that's why I have backed Brazil are 9/1. Fancy Japan and Columbia to have decent showings. Quote
