It's up there with Shearer leaving the Rovers.

I think for real this time. One of the all time greats isn't he? Always sad when a player of that calibre leaves.

I hope he has a good last couple of months and goes out at somewhere near the level we all know him for.

@Devon Malcolm you follow county dont you?

The way County have played most of the season, there's fuck all chance they're playing Spurs next season. If they do, we'll meet up for a beverage around Edgeley!

I saw another belting fact. Our U21s play at the Lamex stadium, home of Stevenage...which could be an away day for Spurs next season.

What a club.

A really heroic effort by Wales, and they were so close, but it wasn't to be.

To concede an equaliser that late on, they did so well to pick themselves for extra time, but if you miss two pens in a shootout, it's done.

What a goal from James as well. One of the best of the season.

Squad depth is the issue. Starting XI isn't too bad and Dylan Lawlor, 20 years old and playing in League One didn't miss a step.

But once you start having to bring on the likes of Mark Harris and Josh Cullen, struggling to get gametime at Oxford and Swansea respectively, the drop-off was plain to see.

And Brennan Johnson... ouch.

You have no fucking idea how much I laugh when England start talking about supposed injury/suspension issues and being forced to draft in Premier League regulars into the squad etc.

Absolute heartbreaker watching Ireland. From 2-0 up to going out on pens. Probably the right result as we created almost nothing from 45 mins onwards. Still a sickener though. Had a ticket for Tuesday night, may still go for the friendly with North Macedonia but not sure if I can face it.

Just enjoy your retirement you old fool.

This. Our basket case lunatic asylum of a club will only bring you hurt, and the point you realise the people above you will not help is the time you're better off stepping back into comfort.

4th manager in less than a year incoming then.

I get the feeling they're about to do something very, very stupid (again) Some absolute nob like Harry Redknapp or Robbie Keane.

Or even worse... IMG-20251214-WA0026(2).jpg.8ffd70a49cbbc8e1454349b00fa697ba.jpg
