According to commentary, when Spence came off, he initially sat down as the manager ignored him, got back up, walked up to the touchline where Tudor was, tapped him on the back and then shook his hand, which is a fantastic mugging off. Joe Hart was absolutely fuming last night. He seemed like he was seconds away from leaving his punditry seat and hunting Tudor down in that stadium. He went full 'Keepers Union/COYS" big time. What a mad club Spurs is at the moment. There's always something going on, but this season is like an Airplane! version where they're throwing so much shit at the wall and it's Spurs on overload. That hope would grow if Tudor was shot out of a cannon this morning. Another great win on the road for the Tigers. 2nd in the league on away form - having played one away game less. We've got more points away (33) than at home (30). Our home form is better than previous seasons but if we'd won more of the games we absolutely should have at home, we'd be giving Cov a run for their money. Quote

You've got to figure that one of either Cov or Boro will fold under the pressure' so automatic promotion must surely still be in play for Hull, Ipswich or Millwall. Millwall won again last night 1-0 didn't flatter them, they were probably value for a couple more. Meanwhile in League One Lincoln move 4 points clear at the top. They are a relentless machine at the minute and it's theirs to throw away at this point with a 13 point gap to third. Quote

The players seemed to rally round him as he came off, and several followed him down the tunnel, including Solanke, Gallagher and Simons. Shows a good togetherness. I've seen that before he was subbed, Romero was in conversation with Tudor and some Spurs fans have already started blaming him for the substitution because of course they have. Spurs fans love a shit stir, especially if it's about us. Conspiracy theory football fans (PGMOL is corrupt! etc) are the best. Just the most deluded bunch of people on earth. Quote

Not a big fan of Lincoln, mainly from some battles in the late 90s and early 2000s but it is crazy that I last went there for a league game in the awy end with North Ferriby United. A literal village team playing Lincoln City in the National League. That was the season Lincoln had that great FA Cup run and went on to win the National League. They went through League 2 pretty quickly and have established themselves as a solid League 1 team, built a good squad, made a great managerial appointment in Michael Skubala, had a very exciting takeover and are on the brink of the Championship. Believe the last time Lincoln were in the second tier, Spurs won the Double. That would be a funny coincidence if the worst happened. Great city, Lincoln. A must visit if you haven't. Quote

He's quite raw so you can see why fans like Stoke's didn't rate him. We've had some brilliant technical players from Liverpool on loan like Harry Wilson, Fabio Carvalho and Tyler Morton and he's not the same. He looks more like a keen lad who has come from League One. He knows where the goal is though and has chipped in with several crucial ones already as well as being a hard-grafter and showing willing to play anywhere from the start or as sub. Portugal - 4 different winners in 80 years - 1 title for Boavista in 2001) Germany - 5 different winners in 20 years but 15 wins for Bayern Turkey - 6 different winners in 40 years (1 title each for Bursaspor, Basaksehir and Trabzonspor) Spain - 3 different winners in 20 years - 18 of which were Real/Barca. Holland - 5 different winners in 40 years - 1 title for AZ Alkmaar, 1 for FC Twente I don't think people who barely watch Scottish football who aren't fans of it understand the levels of fitness, mentality, relentlessness and at times individual brilliance that is required to play every single week against teams who see it as a cup final. Routinely every season big sides from the PL and Championship get put out or pushed right to the line by non league and lower league sides and nobody is every saying "ah English football is shit". Absolutely tonnes of pro's even guys like Joe Hart who played at the highest levels for over a decade have said the mentality required and pressure is another level. I'm not having a pop at anyone, I'm just tired of Scottish football constantly being looked down on particularly by people who generally don't even watch it (not pointing fingers at any of you - referring to people in general). There are Spurs fans on the BBC's live update feed calling for Tim Sherwood or Harry Redknapp to save them. A guy whose entire managerial career is less than 60 games and who hasn't managed for 11 years and a 79 year-old man who hasn't managed for 9 years. That's what Spurs are reduced to begging for.
