To be fair to Nakamura he has been upfront about the fact he is phoning it in and it's not his fault they keep pushing him. What's he going to do, turn down the PPV bonus?

It wasn't just Nia Jax with the weak chair shots, every chair shot in that women's match was weak, at one point I was wondering if there was some kind of new directive around them. Thankfully the men's match made up for it. I enjoyed the triple threat too, all 3 worked really well together.

As Dev says. Why? He has made it very clear that he sees this stage of his career as a way of doing some surfing while getting a paycheck. You have to question why HHH would put him on TV at all when he must know this as well. Nakamura must mean something to the Japanese market for WWE, its the only explanation he's certainly not doing anything match wise. Do WWE have a big Japanese show in the not to distant future?

Nakamura is fine in a mid-card position. His style and presentation are different enough from everything else to keep him interesting to me. His matches aren't brilliant but I'm not that arsed about that. I'd probably rather watch him than Andrade, Carmelo or Knight.

Enjoyed the show but probably my favourite spots were Roman related, the helping up of Jimmy, Jey and Sami but ignoring Punk and giving Sami the pat on the head just before the stand off then after the match giving his boys a hug, man’s still not apologised for his actions but he’s shown he loves them especially as he then listened to Sami and shook Punk’s hand

All the shouts about CM Punk being a rogue/maverick/wildcard land kinda strange now that he looks like a subtly balding Matthew Perry in amongst a load of super athletes.

As someone who trained and worked for years in another country to most of the roster, surely he's bringing another perspective to learn and work with. To me he's almost a 2006 Findlay in a role where they can heat him up, pop him up the card and back down while he works with different guys and teachers them a few things in the ring. Having guys with different styles and decades of experience is definitely valuable. I'd dare say having him on cards probably shifts a few tickets to long time hardcore fans as well.

Imo 87-89 hold up pretty well despite the protective eliminations. Probably because the company was loaded with both star power and talent. 

The wheels really started coming off in 1990 though.

The thing to remember about Nia Jax, and far be it from me to suggest she's some kind of nepo baby, but I think I may have heard the commentators mention once or twice that she's the Rock's cousin?
