Paid Members air_raid Posted February 18, 2023 Paid Members Share Posted February 18, 2023 “Unai Emery's Aston Villa denied his former club Arsenal the chance to go back to the top of the Premier League as they played out a dramatic draw at Villa Park. Villa twice went ahead through Ollie Watkins and Philippe Coutinho in the firstt half as they hosts pressed high early on. They were pegged back by strikes from Bukayo Saka and Oleksandr Zinchenko either side of the break, but Villa's defensive strength was evident as they earned a deserved point. Mikel Arteta's side remain level on points with Manchester City, but are now winless in three league games” …. good old BBC Sport rushing to get their report up before the game actually finishes. Christ so much wrong with that report anyway it would've been 4 winless games and Arsenal would've gone top with a point as well Edited February 18, 2023 by MVP RULZ

Worse than El Gordo y Relegado, AVB, Gene Hackman and Frogger. Coote (who gave Felix an immediate red for lunging in a little recklessly a few weeks ago) and everyone on the VAR team should be sacked today. How the fuck can you not see a red here? His eyes are on the ball and has every right to go for it. It's just unfortunate. Not a red for me Clive.

Not a red for me Clive. It’s one of those incidents that isn’t dangerous play until it it is. I agree that there’s no intent but it’s the risk the player takes. Connect with the ball and score a worldie or connect with the player and take a walk. Shitness of modern football innit.
Keith Houchen
Wasn’t there something similar when Suarez was at Liverpool? Can’t remember if he booted someone while turning to shoot or if he was the one who got booted. Either way, Suarez was in the wrong.

Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted February 19, 2023 Paid Members Share Posted February 19, 2023 It's a red card. As soon as you're throwing up an overhead in a crowded area, it's dangerous play. You know what could happen.
