Callum1993
As per the Torch: Former WCW and WWE star Scott Hall is on life support at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Ga. after suffering three heart attacks last night, PWTorch has learned. He had hip replacement surgery last week, but suffered a serious complication when a blood clot got loose. Hall was first pushed as a main event act in the mid-1980s in the AWA as a tag team partner with Curt Hennig. He would go to prominence nationally as Razor Ramon in WWE. In WCW, he and Kevin Nash formed The Outsiders and helped elevate WCW Nitro in the ratings. Hulk Hogan joined the group which was called the NWO. https://www.pwtorch.com/site/2022/03/13/scott-hall-former-wwe-and-wcw-star-on-life-support-after-health-complication-after-hip-surgery/ Edited March 15, 2022 by Callum1993

Paid Members Boycie Posted March 14, 2022 Paid Members Share Posted March 14, 2022 Really hoping he can get through this. One of my all time favourites. Also an inspirational guy for getting through alcohol addiction and generally becoming a quality bloke. Fingers crossed for the man.

RIDDUM_N_STYLE
Hard not to get a lump in the throat reading Big Kev’s post, praying for the biggest miracle of all time but it’s unlikely to happen 😔
Paid Members Nick James Posted March 14, 2022 Paid Members Share Posted March 14, 2022 Just read Big Kev's post, awful news and just thinking about what his poor family and friends must be going through at the moment. What a shame that he overcame so many demons and the alcohol dependency to be taken so soon. This one is a tough one to take.
Loki
That's the reality of overcoming a long-standing issue like alcoholism - you can't take back the damage already done. His heart is probably very messed up and so something like a blood clot is made much worse. I always thought WCW was the cooler brand back in the end of the 90s, and Hall was clearly their coolest star - he seemed effortless in the ring despite his hard-partying image. He came from a time when you could actually be a top star and never hold the big belt - like Roddy Piper or Dibiase. Nash was the guy who won the heavyweight belt but Hall was never really portrayed as lesser to him. Even when he was well past his best, there was always a thrill when he turned up - whether bumping hard for Austin in WWE or sucking in his gut on the way down the ramp in TNA. He oozed big time. I suspect in his life Hall has done some legitimately shitty things, but he inspired lifelong loyalty in his friends, and that says a lot about a man. Big loss to wrestling, too young. Edit: here's a very late match, Hall and Nash v Team 3D in a cage in 2010! The Outsiders are in their 50s, wrestling guys in their 30s, and they still manage a fun 10 minute brawl. Hall takes a bump on the ramp and gets put through a table, madness considering his condition by that point! westlondonmist
The guy just oozed coolness as the Diamond Stud, Ramon or just Scotland Hall. Met him at a WAW show, he was really friendly to everyone. He discussed he being an alcoholic and was quite humble about overcoming it because he acknowledged that he wasn't a good person during it and he thought he was better and being better was how he should be. While 63 is still no age, I hope the help DDP gave him made his last 10 years a better feeling. Will miss him when he's gone.

Snitsky's back acne
A drink beans him right in the head and he doesn't even sell it. In fact, he came out of it looking like the coolest mother fucker on the planet. Keeping my fingers crossed for a miracle.
