Thanks all, Streets of Rage 4 purchased. £20 from Currys/PC World if interested. As someone who only had a Game Gear at the time, I played the shit out of the first Streets of Rage on there and I enjoyed playing them on Roms later in life so can't wait to get it tomorrow.

It's been £20 on the PS store since release.

I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to try Xbox Games Pass but wow, what a bargain. I’ve been trying (and really enjoying, for the most part) games I had been very unsure about. Ploughing my way through Wasteland 3 right now, it’s loads of fun and the story is great too.

I’ve also revisited Viva Pinata, and it’s every bit as much fun as I remembered. A very underrated Rare game.

Alternatively you can pop over to https://www.shopto.net/en/dls44675-playstation-wallet-top-up-10-00-p52443/ and buy two of these £10 wallet top ups for £17.70, every penny counts! You can also buy one £20 top up for about 10p more.

I usually use CDKeys for my cheap top up codes.

Slightly cheaper on Shopto at the moment, I seem to get more joy on bigger sale discounts there, just takes some mental arithmetic to get the best combinations of top up’s.

On the last chapter of Yakuza Like a Dragon and I've hit a roadblock.

I'm at the stage where all that is left to really do is grind which I think highlights how little the series has actually moved on outside of combat.

Substories have been a bit of a let down to be honest, considering how big the game is there's actually less than ever or it at least feels that way.

Side content is mostly just copied and pasted from previous games. I love SEGA classics as much as the next guy but it's old hat now.

I still really like the game but find myself itching to jump back into the previous ones.

Still a solid foundation but it's not just the combat in need of a shakeup.

8/10. I don't see the last couple of hours changing that.

Also no cringy live chat mini game featuring Japanese porn stars. Booooooo.

Streets of Rage 4 is exactly what I hoped. A good old fashioned beat em up with a lovely art style and a nice variety in different play stiles. Had a long play of it last night (well, almost 3 hours which is a long play for me now days) and enjoying it.

And yeah, it maybe £20 on the PS store,  but did you get a free keyring on there? Huh, HUH!

Death Come True (PS4)

One of those interactive movie type deals and a fun little diversion so far.

Basically a Japanese Groundhog Day style murder mystery and proper made for TV level which is fine by me.

Chiaki Kuriyama (Battle Royale, Kill Bill Vol. 1) is in it which is pretty cool.

That looks just like my kinda thing, reminds me a little of 428: Shibuya Scramble but that plays more like a traditional Visual Novel.

I've found it to be a decent little time killer to take a break from Yakuza.

Not something that I would highly recommend considering it's obviously not for everyone (much like Visual Novels) but I'm enjoying it.
